Here are some Solas sketches I've done over the past few days whenever I needed a breather from a bigger piece I'm working on.

On that note, it'll most likely be a while before my next full piece because I do have a somewhat complicated and prioritized project in the works but I may still be posting occasional sketches and lower energy drawings that I do to avoid burnout. 🫶🏻

I'm still absolutely feral over Dorian calling them "The Dread Inquisitor" to his father. My jaw dropped.

Can you imagine if Solas had heard that? Especially if you had an Inquisitor who romanced him? Knowing what we know.

A being plucked from obscurity, coming into their own power/skill, made into this exalted feared figure. Leading an army rebellion to protect the world from tyrants.

So, we're all in agreement that Solas left his Wolf jaw bone necklace with Lavellan/inquisitor, yes?

It's nowhere in the lighthouse (that I could find) and he doesn't wear it. And honestly, it could work with any approval and romance 👀

Romanced? Obvious reason. He loves them for eternity and even longer still, his Vhenan~ he probably places it gently around their neck before he leaves through the Eluvian.

Friendship? Another obvious really, he loves his friends deeply.

Low approval? This clever asshole leaves his necklace on their desk, or somewhere obvious just to gloat like, Fen'Harel was right in front of you this whole time. A wolf hiding in sheeps clothing.(Or something, I said he's clever not me)

i knew it was going to happen. i've anticipated this... but damn. when he walked away from lavellan at crestwood, nothing really prepares you for sudden emptiness. the growing chasm between them as he retreated and all she could do was watch.

Can you imagine being forced into a world you never wanted to roam only to fall in love with someone who never truly cared about you?? Only to actually find companionship millennia later in the form of a war hero tasked to clean up the mess you made??

There’s something so tragic about Solas’ initial existence and beautiful in the way he finds solace in the inquisitor. She doesn’t expect anything from him in the way Mythal did, yet he’s burdened her in a way he’ll never be able to explain completely
