Eyes...

Those fulfilling blissful eyes,

Ah! the bitter sweet memories, they hold no lies.

It shows me a reflection,

On what we both think is perfection.

Never so dull that mesmerizing look.

I've seen and read you so much from your eyes, it seems this is my book.

But alas eyes see what they see...

Allusions, assumptions, of what you think of me.

I'll continue to stare at thee,

As we were never meant to be.

Starry Night

Do you see the stars?

How much they shine

They're full of wonder

But yet they are dead

And love, this makes me sad

For the stars remind me of your eyes

Exquisite, but they are dying

Eyes hold everything

And as we sit here on the starry night

It gives me hope

As I watch you stare at those balls of light

Your sea glass irises are revived with Life

The stars dance on the water

As we dance on the shore

You are alive

And the stars shine for you

Neccesary Loss

The sun goes down and light fades.

I close my eyes, and life ends.

A dream of nothingness; complete silence.

A whisper of life, the beat of a heart.

The warmth of the morning sun…

Life starts, and I open my eyes.

A new day, another dead.

Another dead, for a new life.

Time to start over again.

In Another World

She has a whole other world inside her mind

Different places inside her brain

Some are places you wouldn’t want to find

Like Nightmare Avenue, and Memory Lane

Many people, and many places

There are places the sun does not shine

People of all different colors and races

Sometimes it’s a place that’s truly divine

A place where she can run and hide

Whenever she cannot be strong

She can let out the feelings that are locked inside

A place that’s been there all along

A place no one will ever find

Whenever she needs to be alone

That special place inside her mind

That special place that she calls “Home”
