This summer I committed to going to the gym 3x a week and have been doing pretty well sticking to it. Physical exercise helps me relieve stress, enhances my mood, and is an amazing energy outlet for me after spending 8-12 hours sitting and studying. Sometimes you just gotta take a deep breath and sit down... This week has been incredibly hard for me, despite appearing happy and normal on my story. I always try to keep a positive social media presence but it’s important to acknowledge that life isn’t perfect and we all have hardships. People tend to forget that social media posts are little snippets of somebody’s life that they CHOOSE to share.
