So one day I was pretty stoned & I set some tin foil on the counter top in front of the microwave. it fell. I try catch. I catch at weird angle, a feeling like what I imagine a saw being dragged through my finger. It was a trap. Much blood, I yelp, boyfriend rounds corner investigating More blood, stress right on top of my head like a pulsating indignant fly, I don’t have any money for a hospital visit. Grab some epoxy. Grab some of that shit you squeeze onto open wounds to keep them clean. Boyfriend tries to help. Clean gash as well as I can-blood keeps getting in the way. gash refuses to clear of blood. gross. I keep feeling a rushing feeling in my face, sound slowly dims then fades back as I discover I need to make breathing a literal priority. My finger tip is purple. Boyfriend helps apply epoxy. Blood streams in little pockets of the epoxy while I fight to remain awake and bind it with a bandaid. Bandaid up with two, one fat one medium. Starwars bandaids🖤🌟

While sitting in the mechanics office next to a blind dog waiting on my car brakes to be fixed the first week of January 2017, I read an article in National Geographic. It put some things in perspective for me.
