Review: Maple Nut Fudge
Date of Photo: November 15, 2015
Price: $4.39
Location: Zuri's Sweets Shop in Animal Kingdom
This beautiful fudge was simply labeled as "Maple Nut Fudge" in the case. It contained walnuts and boasted an intense maple flavor. The texture was silky smooth, with the nuts adding a nice bit of crunch. This fudge was sweeter than other fudges I've tasted at Walt Disney World--the maple flavoring being the reason why, of course. I enjoyed the sweetness but could only handle a bite or two at a time, otherwise it became overwhelming. I ended up snacking on this treat throughout the day. Whenever I started to feel tired, I'd have a bite or two and it would provide me with a spark of energy! Overall, I found this fudge to be delicious, but just a bit too sweet.
Review: Warm Cinnamon Roll
Date of Photo: May 21, 2015
Price: $4.19
Location: Gastonâs Tavern in Magic Kingdom
This ginormous cinnamon roll is topped with vanilla icing as well as a maple glaze. The addition of the glaze really takes this over the top, adding even more sweetness to this sugary mountain of a pastry. The roll itself was soft, with heavenly cinnamon sugar swirled throughout. The one issue I had with this treat was that it is clearly called a âwarm cinnamon rollâ on the menu, yet it was served at room temperature. Although it was still super yummy and filling, it would have been much more satisfying if it was warm, as advertised!

Review: Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream Macaron Sandwich
Date of Photo: September 20, 2014
Price: $3.99
Location: L'Artisan des Glaces in Epcot
When I first looked at this sandwich, my first thought was "well that's smaller than I expected". But trust me, it makes up for it's small size with huge flavor! The sandwich had an overall sweet, warm kick of pumpkin spice. It doesn't overwhelm the senses like some pumpkin spice treats do, which I really appreciated. The ice cream itself was decadent and creamy, but since the sandwich was pre-made and had been sitting in the freezer, the macaron had a strange, crumbly texture. It was still yummy, donât get me wrong, it just wasn't as fresh as I wouldâve liked. This is still a fantastic dessert and the price is quite reasonable, compared to some other Walt Disney World desserts!
Review: Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich
Date of Photo: October 22, 2014
Price: $7.49
Location: Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom
This sandwich is by far one of the best food values in Magic Kingdom. Itâs a mobile version of chicken and waffles! The photo doesnât do it justice, but this thing is huge. The waffle itself is delicious, slightly sweet, and super soft. It makes a perfect bed for the slaw, arugula, and fried chicken. The generous portion of chicken breast is deep fried and coated in a spicy sauce. The slaw has a beautiful slightly sweet Asian flavor. All of the components come together to create a medley of flavors that are sure to make a tasty addition to your day at Magic Kingdom!

Review: Decorated Gingerbread Cookie
Date of Photo: December 12, 2015
Price: $4.75
Location: Sugar and Spice Holiday Bakery (Holidays Around the World) in Epcot
This cute little gingerbread man was decorated with red & green candy-coated chocolates and frosting. The cookie itself was soft and chewy: it didnât get crumbly or fall apart! The dough was sweet and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices. Although the frosting wasnât the prettiest, it was delicious! It was a lighter, thinner frosting than Iâm used to and I really enjoyed it -- I just wished there was more of it! Overall I found this treat to be tasty and adorable, but I do feel that itâs a bit overpriced at nearly five dollars.
