hello!!! I'm a new to the tumblr Lindy hop community, though I've been dancing longer. Im looking for some excellent and purely lindy hop blogs to follow - do you have any suggestions?

Oh, and before I forget.

Are there any other tumblr hoppers intending on going to Lindy Focus who would be interested in splitting a room together? The pricing at the official hotel is “$99 + tax” per night for a room with two double beds. If four or five of us decided to split it, that wouldn’t be a bad price at all.

I know this is early and I’ll probably post about this again later, but is anyone interested?

How much should I donate?

As many of you know, all tumblr hopper merch is provided free of charge.

I do this mostly because I think it would be a great way to grow/promote our wonderful community here, and I wouldn't want someone to feel excluded because they are unable to pay for one. 

However, I do have a donation button in the sidebar of my page and many people have asked what an appropriate donation would be, so I'm writing this to let you know what exactly goes into shipping out an individual tumblr hopper pin!

Each pin: ~$2.20+ (price depends on how many I order -- does not include the cost of shipping them to me)

Shipping Materials: ~$1.00 (they are packed so they don't break in transit!)

Shipping Costs: ~$3.00+ (Depending on where it's going, of course!)

TOTAL: ~$6.20

So, the "ideal" donation lies somewhere around $6, however, donations of any amount (in the form of money and/or kind words and/or other awesome things?) are always welcome.

I am very happy to provide this service for our community, but do please keep in mind that $6.20/person adds up rather quickly, and that, if you are able, a donation would be most appreciated.

Well that last post definitely did the trick!

As of yesterday, I have sent in an order to restock on the tumblr hopper pins. I will let each of you know individually when yours has shipped :)

In fact, there were FAR more orders than I was expecting, and I actually ordered more than I had originally intended! Crazy madness!

I'm hope you all enjoy the pins and when you do receive them, please feel free to post a picture in the tumblr hoppers tag or submit one to the blog, I would love to see you guys rocking your tumblr hopper pins/stickers!
