another #fbf to 1985. I did this for the 3:16 Bible Texts Illuminated: Donald E. Knuth. What you would never guess by looking at the book was that it was done as an original (not a paste-up) on JB Green handmade paper. Black, ground sumi ink with gouache. This type of page is a formidable challenge at any age.

This is a class exemplar I did using the Pilot Parallel pen (green). Try using Uncial as capitals to Blackletter minuscules. It works nicely.
