I did become obsessed with knitting. I made two scarves, a snood and five hats. Mad Max was such a masculine set and I’m sitting there with my shaved head and full-on make-up… knitting.

Nowadays we have so many things that take our attention - phones, Internet - and perhaps we need to disconnect from those and focus on the immediate world around us and the people that are actually present.

to be honest with you, one of the main reasons that i stay here—this seems like a really odd reason, maybe not to anyone else who stays here—but in the gym here they have a boxing bag and a speed ball, and i really love doing that… of course, i’m not that good, so i don’t want to walk into a wild card gym or something and be like, ‘hey guys, can i hit the bag for a minute?’
