Is anybody still out here? I've been working professionally for almost 2 years now, should I keep updating even though I died for a year?? I'll forget I did this tomorrow

Turn table of the rhinos I've been modeling for the next demo reel project! I'm in charge of the rhinos and environment! While my partner takes care of texturing! The rest we do together
Hello people, I am barely alive but still going. Here’s something from last term that I put in keyshot. Its from my Creature Sculpting class with Jared Krichevsky, the class was a lot of fun and we got to experiment with something new each week!
Some screenshots
Also have some blood!
A bit closer up
This is a final project for my elective this term, I chose Creature sculpting of course! Jared Krichevsky was the instructor and it was really awesome to see the workflow from a guy who worked for Aaron Sims and now Legacy Effects!
It was nice to work on something other than demoreel for a bit.
update water simulation that Elliot did again.
P.S This play-blast took 3 hours. The simulation took around 24 hours to get 200 frames.
More work in progress images, this time testing out fog
Water work in progress pictures
it takes. a long. time.
Good thing my partner is so patient.
I knew I wanted to be involved in movies or games from the very beginning, when I played the first Spyro on PS1 as a really young kid. Being from a small town in Texas the only real fun things to do for me were to watch movies, play video games, and teach myself to draw. Because of my interest, almost unlimited free time and a computer available it was only a matter of time before I figured out what I wanted to do and how to do it. I taught myself Photoshop in elementary school and discovered Zbrush ...
Trying out the rookies again this year, have a look and see a ton of my fellow students from Gnomon and VFX schools all around!
I was looking at the knights face and had a revelation. It was ugly as fuck and super messed up. So I basically found a lot more reference (duh) and pretty much completely re did it. I like it a lot more now lol
bunch of texture work in progress pictures by my partner Elliot. He is doing a super bad ass job at making my engravings look old and weathered, not to mention how comfortable that fabric looks and how nice the leather is coming out.
another turntable for my troubles. And she will have pants, I just totally forgot to make them!
onwardstotheclothing!tumblrwontletmeusethespacebarbutthatsok!!lolol!!!butthats!!
Some more work on the armor, all thats left is to finish the fabric and tweek the position of things here and there!
I never want to look at filigree again.
Updates on the knight. I really enjoy doing the ornamental parts of this XD Cant wait to see how Elliot textures it.
