This is an appreciation post for the gorgeous man pictured above. I have never seen someone as captivating, magnetic, and enigmatically beautiful as Raul in Learning to Love. There needs to be a stronger word for beautiful, honestly- he leaves me at a loss for words. His aura from the very first scene absolutely blew me away. At 21/22 he gave an incredible performance despite being relatively new to acting. Thanks to him, I was able to discover the wonderful world of J-Pop and Japanese entertainment. As a long time K-pop fan, oh my goodness it was a culture shock, but I am so here for the ride. It is so uniquely fun and playful. Rautan and Sunotan forever!!! Thank you Learning to Love. No, thank you Raul.

Sleeper scene from the ep bcs we all know how badly he wants her for her strength but we weren’t aware that he was already attached to her enough that he was this panicked and afraid to lose her. Great scene to open with to let us know where he stands in regards to her as a pupil but also someone he cares for in a deeper way.

Also my all time favorite bit of acting from manny jacinto 🌝

i see lexi loving anything pies: pumpkin, sweet potato, apple. and she loves the process of baking it with fez and sue- they make it a whole event.

i hate HATE that riverdale is riverdale where you can’t dismiss anything because i need to understand why people would think the show would ever revert back to 5x17 for any reason other than ‘we want va/bh back and barchie gone’

and the other nonsensical theories, too. like everything being written by jughead just because archie said 8 words that jughead said 3 seasons ago.

or reggie and tabitha getting together because ???

if bh va ever get back together it’ll be because of one reason and one reason only: fan-service. with how the season has been going, there is no logical reason or set up of bh and va reuniting. so i do not understand why bhva fans have to come up with these crazy theories to prove something that isn’t there.

Okay but everything being written by Jughead for this season is canon. Vale Jughead has been writing since episode 5 for the rest of this season.

I know you were talking about BA specifically but one of the reasons I've seen bhs go on and theorize about going back to 5x17 and how this is the wrong timeline and such is because apparently it wasn't believable that after 5x17 and the "development" that implied b*ghead would reunite, that Jughead would suddenly and out of nowhere want to be with Tabitha. As though it wasn't obvious as early as 5x10 & 5x11 that he was falling for Tabitha.

if betty and jug had any set up from 5x17 to reunite we would have seen it by now. antis ignore everything that isn’t their ship which is why i guess they missed an entire season of development of jughead/tabitha.

and the whole timeline discourse in the show did not begin til after 5x19 so a reset to 5x17 is just ??? antis are unbelievable.
