Hey, friends! There are only two days left (it ends Thursday, July 30th at 8am) on the OUTLAW'S APPRENTICE: BROKEN BLADE Kickstarter campaign, and if you're thinking about getting the book sometime down the road, I'd recommend getting it through the kickstarter, because if you do, you'll get a whole bunch of extras with it.

ALSO: We're getting close to the final stretch goal: if we reach 40K, every public library in Kentucky, and ever public middle and high school library in Kentucky that requests one, will get a copy of the Appalachian-inspired fantasy GN at no cost to them. Plenty of our schools and libraries don't necessarily have the resources available to order every new graphic novel that they might want to have, and while I have far too little in the way of means or influence to help with that state of things, I can print more copies of THIS book and ship them to the librarians in my own state. So any additional backing or word of mouth to help us reach this goal is appreciated, with all my heart!

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
