The month of December feels like a death where I'm skinned raw, my nerves unable to take exposure to air. But I've grown it back.

I think the saying "keep your eyes peeled" could be used as a metaphor for "pull down the veils, look again."

Because with the doors of perception, you step through again and again as your layers of awareness climb higher on that spiral to the sky.
