finally decided on a color spectrum. it was really hard for me to choose between the unnaturals. ultraviolet, void, and celestial were no brainers, but then i had 9 more slots to fill and 9 million colors to choose from.

also instead of replacing starshine, i made a new action based on it called “starlight”, which is visually based on pooklet’s torpedo, but made to suit my texture and penchant to over contrast.

Parsec is super dreamy, and I’m not usually a pink person. It’s amazing to watch the progression on these!

She must have been a fisherman in a past life -- or perhaps in her current one -- because she found it highly enjoyable, not to mention a fantastic way to make simoleons.

On further excursions, she often found people would leave cooked food in parks, available for anyone to take if they dared. The quality was often iffy, but beggars couldn't be choosers.

Park benches weren't so bad for naps, and public gardens made for excellent places to snatch herbs and vegetables for selling later. The ghosts certainly didn't seem to mind.

Without a home, her options for making food were severely limited.

Nope. She definitely didn't like people. Of any age.

At least that's something I know about myself, she thought. Shouldn't children be in bed this late?!

It was evening. She didn't realize where she'd headed until she'd nearly meandered into the river. She didn't know why she ended up there. There wasn't anything to guide her. She couldn't remember anything about herself.

She knew she needed to make simoleons to afford to eat. Movement out of the corner of her eye drew her attention to the river itself.

Fish. Could she make simoleons fishing?

Only one way to find out.

First on the docket: a shower.

Once she could feel her fingertips again, she began to go through the lockers as quickly -- and quietly -- as possible. The sooner she found something, anything, that might fit, the better.

The sweater looked cozier than what she had been wearing, even if she didn't think pink was her colour. She decided the leggings could stay after a moment's deliberation. Whatever they were made of, they had nearly dried during her trek. She couldn't risk anyone walking in on her.

She might not know who she was, but she wasn't about to draw attention to herself.

The gym was easy to sneak into, given no one appeared to be manning the desk. She took the stairs, trying to appear as inconspicuous as possible. Her clothes seemed less strange when compared to the gym patrons around her.

She took the nearest washroom door, and as miserable as she felt, she at last felt hope. Lockers, ideally filled with clothes.

She'd struck gold.

Feeling filthy and frozen to the bone, she came across the gym when it seemed the town offered little other than cafes and bars and plenty of hipsters frequenting either. It would be somewhere to take a shower, at least.

She wandered away from the man-made river, into what looked to be a town or small city. There had to be somewhere that offered free clothes, or at least somewhere she could steal them from easily -- a shelter, or a thrift shop.

Stopped by a local, she discovered two things: she certainly wasn't dressed like anyone else in the place, and she didn't much care for socializing.

Wherever she was from, it wasn't here.

Whoever she was, wherever she was, she couldn't remain in her sopping-wet clothes -- if they could be considered that. She needed to find something to change into.

She woke coughing, lungs filled with brackish water. She was cold, soaked to the skin, but mostly confused.

Where was she? And more importantly: who was she?
