Freiburg’s Senegalese goal-machine Papiss Demba Cisse has revealed his desire to move to Premier League outfit Liverpool. Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with the 25-year-old in recent months; and when asked about the interest shown in him from Anfield he said: "Liverpool is a dream club. Salif Diao and El Hadji Diouf have played there. But to be honest I am happy here at the moment.

"But you never know in football. Things can develop quickly."

Cisse has scored 16 goals in 22 league games so far this season, two less than the division's leading goal-scorer Mario Gomez, who has hit 18.

The Argentine defender, 20, has been earning rave reviews in La Liga and has also attracted interest from Juventus.

Musacchio is already valued at £8m by the Spanish club and reports in Spain suggest that Liverpool's director of football strategy Damien Comolli is set to enter negotiations over a move to sign him.

Kenny Dalglish is keen to change his squad around at the end of the season and knows he needs to bolster his backline.

For the last month it has been rumored that AC would be making his LFC debut against the ManC's.  What are your thoughts?  I for one think he needs to get a run out as N'Ggog is not getting it done.  He was horrible against Sparta and is just up to the challenge.  Especially with Vidic and Rio out of the game, his aerial threat would cause them loads of problems.  Also, with Stevie still not fully fit and Raul a major question mark (injury), we need to have another scoring option in the team.
