BLM means ALL black lives. People seem to forget the harshness and racism faced by queer black people not only in their own communities but also in the LGBTQ community itself. I can't help but think about Bee Love Slater. She was the 17th trans woman killed in 2019, burned in a car on the outside of the town she was trying to leave. Of all the trans women killed in 2019, only 1 was white. The erasure needs to stop. These women kick started the gay liberation movement. Dysphoria sucks. I think that's pretty obvious. For some it can hit like a truck, swallow you whole, sneak up on you and swallow you whole or for some it can constantly be lingering. But it's knowing how to deal with it when it grabs you that's key. I think that loose clothing that hides the body is a huge help to most trans people. You are not alone. I am aware that not all intersex people want to be part of the LGBT+ community and some prefer just to live their lives as cisgender people which is fine. However it still confuses me how people constantly looking over and disregard the existence of intersex people, especially in school curriculum in science too... ● I am also greatly confused as to how people believe that sex and gender identity are completely the same! I might do a similar comic with the trans non binaries doing a similar thing... ● To sum up though: intersex people exist, are valid and the dangerous, unconsentual surgeries some have when they are born should be reconsidered untill they are old enough to make their own decisions...
