lgcsoyoun:
Soyoun hadn’t had the chance to meet with people outside LGC Girls for a while, so she wasn’t going to say no when Jihye had invited her out to lunch. “I trust your taste,” Soyoun says with a smile. She hadn’t been to this particular place before, as she generally preferred the places that she was more familiar with. But this is a nice change. Besides, Jihye was always great company.
At the mention of interviews, Soyoun nods. “Yeah, I like to think I’ve gotten as much practice as I possibly can,” she admits. “Family isn’t too hard to talk about for me, to be honest.” She hums as she listens to what Jihye says, and she understands where Jihye is coming from. Not everyone is as lucky to be comfortable with the topic like she is. “Ah, yeah, I figure. What would you want to talk about instead, though?”
“as you should.” jihye joked back with a chuckle. “so, i’m a huge fan of pasta and it fuses korean and italian takes on pasta.” she was excited, the smell of the food calling to her. “i only ordered you a normal drink but would you like a glass of wine. i got one for myself.” that being said, jihye took a sip.
“lucky you.” she didn’t say it with any malice, soyoun was lucky. “maybe, if they weren’t so...messy. i don’t know how many times they insist on bringing their new families together for dinner that goes horribly wrong. my parents are great, when they’re apart.” and that wasn’t something she wanted to share in an interview even if she didn’t mind sharing it with soyoun. “i’d prefer fashion, music...even my failed music career, anything but family.”
