hes kinda freaky and weird ashf audhd chronically depressed idiot in a fantasy world w no medication- complete mess but genuinely trying to do good by the world and fitting into peoples ideal of inquisitor to the best of his ability.

In my head hes a semi-untalented mage posing as a dual wield rogue, very familiar with putting on a mask and lying straight to peoples faces to make THEM comfortable. pretending so desperately to be normal it sometimes comes off as suspicious to those closest to him.

Lies so much and is so untrue to himself hes unsure who he is beneath it all, i think bull is the only person to catch onto that and is able to figure him out.

I know everyone (myself included) talk about Cullen and Bull's lip scar. Or Bull's missing eye. But I think an equally important part of Bull's battle scarred body (aside from his torso scars) is that he is missing parts of his digits on his left hand.

I have thoughts about how this impacts how he touches the Inquisitor. How they register touch at all really. I have thoughts about a lot of Bull's injured and scarred body. How it impacts how he moves in a climate that sets off his old injuries. How the longer he is in the south as he gets older he has to bundle up more and more.

How when he gets too old to fight, to sore and stiff to have confidence he'll get out alive, that he has to move north. Or as north as he feels comfortable to not feel homesick. Not homesick for Par Vollen and not homesick for his new home in the south.

I think about Bull's injuries a lot.
