“November whizzed right by, it did--” Banjo could hardly believe his eyes when he happened to glance at their little calendar. It’s already about time for snow to start settling in! He’d better start digging out their hats, and Kazooie’s scarf, and...
“Yeah, that means tomorrow’s Christmas.”
Banjo took a short break from his efforts to... well, stop. His movement halted in brief astonishment at his sister’s words, and with a slight shake of his head, he would smile a little bit. The box he was currently digging in to happened to be exactly where Kazooie’s scarf lied, and with a quick pull, he would begin to decorate the bird roosting beside him with it.
“Kazooie, it ain’t Christmas yet...! Soon, but not now.”
“Not in my head. C’mon, at least gimmie that--I can’t even function in winter, Banjo!” Kazooie didn’t mind the scarf, in fact, she seemed to lift her head so Banjo could better wrap it around her neck.
A soft giggle sounded at that, and Banjo would finally let go. “Alright, alright... tomorrow’s the start of the Christmas season. How’s that?”
“Hey, now that’s more like it.”
