Greetings Earthlings (: 

My name is Lianna Bourdony, my major is in International Business with a minor in nutrition. I love to travel and learn about the different cultures, economy and the way people live. One day my dream is to create a business that helps people in need around the world and give them the opportunity to become successful. I have been to Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Guam, Hawaii, Tokyo, and now I’m in Texas. I am from a beautiful island of Okinawa, Japan and although I love traveling round the world there is no place like my sunny sunshine island. During my free time I love to read and cook, my sport is volleyball and love exercising daily. It gets me motivated and a great way to start the day. I’m excited to start my writing journey in this class even though I suck at writing, literally my paper is like a whole bunch of ideas cluttered into words, hopefully in this class I can learn to expand my ideas and organize it more.

Reading is absolutely my favorite hobby you can find me reading at any moment I can spare. My favorite book(s) with out a doubt are the Harry Potter books. My major is Psychology I want to use this as my foundation for Law School, but I am also interested in receiving my Masters degree and PHD. I also enjoy Crossfit I am a competitor at Get Lifted (prior to injury). Cooking for some is just a chore but I love to get cook books, shop for groceries and make a huge mess in the kitchen. I play golf at university, I’ve been playing since I was four. I love 21 pilots and Passion Pit they are most definitely not a part of large genres; their sound is like none other and maybe that is what is so appealing. There is no need to explain the last picture… Think what you may about veganism but it is amazing, don’t fret I will not talk about veganism again. Simply put I want to gain social media literacy, and improve my writing skills. Reading and writing are very important me but I also know they very important in a professional setting.

Education

I love learning about new things and I am always knowledge hungry! With that being said I still struggle on writing assignments and often times spend on average of 3 hours on any writing I have done. This semester I would like to shorten the time it takes for me to write a paper.
