"Happy Birthday, Shumai!"
Kokichi hands Shuichi a present box decorated in purple with an indigo ribbon. Upon opening it, it turns out not to be a normal gift box.
No, the present box is a Jack-in-the-Box with the ribbon acting as the crank. The moment it's tugged, a jester that looks suspiciously like a certain, familiar purple clown jumps out of the box and springs to the tune of "Pop Goes the Weasel."
After Kokichi has a good laugh at Shuichi's reaction, he pulls out a second present, a large detective novel tied in a sparkly purple ribbon that thankfully doesn't have anything dubious about it.

"Oh...! For me?" Well that was a nice surprise: Kokichi seemingly handing Shuichi a normal looking gift with nothing else up his sleeve! At least... that's what he thought.... "Thank you, Ouma-ku-"
...Until he was about to unwrap it, only to yelp when he, instead, pulled the crank that makes the jester in the box pop out! "Waauughh!!!"
He nearly dropped the box with how much it was stumbling around in his hands with how hard he jumped. And looks just like that mischievous gremlin, too, because of course it does!!! "O-Oh my god..." A hand to his chest, he just exhales as he hears that boy laugh. "Y-Yep, I should have known that you had something up your sleeve, you...!!!"
A harmless swat is given to Kokichi's arm with a corner of the box. He wasn't mad, of course, since even he can admit he got him pretty good! And he'll laugh it off at the end of the day... Though what catches him by even greater surprise is that Kokichi really did have a gift for him in the end.
"! Y-You really had something for me, after all?" A detective novel... a huge one at that!! Oh he was immediately invested, taking the gift in his hand as he undoes the ribbon. "This book...! I've been meaning to get this for a while! How'd you know!" He was excited to read it, already!! This boy... really is full of surprises. But without a doubt, he made Shuichi very happy. Though he won't let him get away with being the only one who gets teased here, and so, as Shuichi steps closer, he... puts a hand in Kokichi's hair and starts to wildly ruffle it.
"Payback." He smirks. The boy's hair was usually wild looking, anyway, so he won't mind, right? Then with a laugh, his expression softens as he says: "...Thank you, Ouma-kun. You gave me a good laugh and a nice gift!"

"So, I heard it was a certain someone's birthday... and I'm sure he'd send me to some 'underwater prison' or whatever if I didn't get him anything, soo... " A laugh, he gives a small shake of his head. "Just kidding. Of course I have a gift for you. U-Um: Happy Birthday, Ouma-kun. For you... !"
Shuichi holds out a gift box for Kokichi to take if he'd like, along with a mini dessert container. The dessert is a red velvet cupcake, while the gift itself are a pair of checkerboard-patterned bracelets: one purple-and-black colored, while the other is red-and-black colored. "I-I thought maybe you'd like these...? And the dessert, too.. at least, I hope I could pick out some nice things for you!" (HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOKICHIII!!! 💜🏁🎉!!!)
"OOOooo, I hadn't thought of sending you to an underwater prison! That's a good idea, Shumai! I'll keep that in mind if you decide to defy me with too much rebelliousness." Kokichi chuckles.
Though he goes quiet when Shuichi holds out a present to him and wishes him a happy birthday. The act of kindness stuns him silent a moment, leaving him frozen and staring at the gift. Because this is new. No one outside of DICE has ever celebrated or even wished him a happy birthday before, let alone gotten him something.
Kokichi's eyes sparkle a moment, and for just a blink, it looks like he's about to cry...
But he quickly snaps back into focus and snatches the presents with a sense of entitlement to follow.
"Hmmm yes, these do appear to be a proper tribute for someone as powerful as myself," He declares, scarfing down the cupcake all in one go.
As for the bracelets...
He hands the red one back to Shuichi, slipping the purple one on his own wrist and holding it up.
"Here! We match! Now we're bound together forever with absolutely no escape! Nishishi~!"
“I should be asking you the same thing, you fraud! These presents rightfully belong to moi 'cuz they're my presents, not yours. Go get your own! Shoo!”
"How dare this imposter try to usurp MY birthday! In my own secret base, no less! You will die for exposing our hideout and impersonating an evil supreme leader!" Kokichi shouts, before moving to stand beside his much bulkier looking second in command with the red afro, who looks very confused.
"Ace! Toss this doppelganger out and feed him to the gummy sharks! As your REAL supreme leader, I command you!"
@dicetrick replied: Pointing at each other like that one Spiderman meme….
"How dare you impersonate me on my birthday!! This is treason of the HIGHEST order! I should have you executed on the spot for trying to TAKE ALL MY BIRTHDAY PRESENTS!!!!!!"
*kicks down the door*
"Guess who's birthday's today, bitches! That's right! Me!!"
"You know, I would celebrate father's day, but I already sent my dad to work in the slums of Siberia fifty years ago, so there's no way I'd be able to get him home in time, let alone with any fresh milk!"
...that's a lie.
Kokichi never met his dad.
Or his mom, for that matter.
Not that he wants anyone here to know that.

*Why did he get the feeling something worse than a killing game was about to happen? Takumi instinctively knew the longer he stayed in this new body the worse this feeling would become. Did Kokichi plan to release Eito to 'liven things up' over there? This was the worst...Even though the male knew saying anything out loud was pointless he had to try.*
" Kokichi...don't do it. Don't even think about letting him out. Please..."
Kokichi hears a voice in his head that sounds eerily similar to the one that comes out of his mouth whenever he speaks in this other kid's body. Are they still connected somehow, despite their subconscious memories being flipped?
It's kinda funny hearing this other kid beg him not to let whoever this is out. Good on him for being smart enough to catch on to who he's talking to.
"Heh... smartest person here is an understatement." Eito adjusts his glasses as he and "Takumi" talk. "Unlike everyone else here, I actually take care to pay attention to what's going on around me. I could tell the moment you walked toward my cage that you weren't Takumi. So, who are you?"
"Me? No one special, really. I didn't even want to be here." Kokichi throws Takumi's arms behind his head in a casual manner, acting a bit more like himself since there's no point in hiding the swap from someone whose already caught on. "Then again, where I was before probably wasn't much better."

*Takumi had decided to tell them anyway and learnt the hard way that it was the wrong course of action. Everyone had brushed it off as another one of ‘Kokichi's lies’. Some had even been so generous as to list out the many things this Kokichi had done, all because he was the ‘Ultimate Supreme Leader’ and wanted to make this killing game not boring.
Wait killing game? Was this person really taking part in a killing game with these other students?! While he knew Darumi would mention them often Takumi never even entertained the idea of participating in one so why him?
Still, it was clear if the male wanted any answers he would have to find them on his own and act more like the person he found himself stuck as and avoid being killed here.*
Kokichi takes the food tray out to the courtyard, seeing a boy in a puffy white coat sitting there and humming to himself. He stops upon seeing "Takumi" approach with food. Pale, blue eyes narrow at "Takumi" with suspicion lacing them.
"You aren't Takumi, are you?"
That one takes Kokichi aback a little. "What makes you say that?"
"You have the same wretched face. The same abhorrent smell. Looking at the ugly human in front of me, you look like Takumi in every way. But the way you carry yourself. The look in those disgusting eyes of yours. I can tell that you aren't actually him."
Kokichi's taken aback by that. Using "Takumi's" body, he pulls one of his signature smirks.
"Well, congratulations. You just solidified yourself as the smartest person out of this pack of idiots. You want a prize?"
Something tells Kokichi this person is going to be very fun to talk to.
