Your crappy book donations...
I'm not talking about all book donations, obviously. Just the ones. You know the ones. They're travel guides from the early 90s, packed in a box with health books from 1986, with dead bugs at the bottom.
I have a few questions for people who donate these.
Do you think we're going to be able to do anything with these? Do you think that anyone is going to buy them in our book sale or we're going to put them on the shelves? Are you just giving them to us because you feel guilty about throwing them out yourselves?
Also, is this the reason you leave the books in the lobby during closing hours when there is a sign right there saying NOT TO LEAVE DONATIONS IN THE LOBBY?
Let me tell you right now... I normally love book donations. I love going through them and figuring out what we can use and how. But your travel guide from 1982 and your Windows 95 how-to book aren't going into circulation or our book sale.
And for the love of god, why do you give us boxes with dead bugs in them?
