This is one of my favorite songs by artist Tom Smith.  He wrote it for the webcomic Girl Genius.  Transylvania Polygnostic University is a fictional place in the steampunk world of Agatha and friends.  I recommend both Tom’s music and the webcomic. Weird Reference Questions

I once spent 20 minutes on a phone call with someone who wanted me to find them a professor who would be willing to read The Cantebury Tales in Middle English to them.  In person.  Recordings on YouTube or audiobooks would not suffice.  What’s your most interesting reference question?

If you like offbeat history or just wish you knew about more interesting women from the past or folklore you should check out this site.  Entries are sporadic right now because the author is working on a book that will be coming out this fall.  But the archives are well worth digging into.
