listening to the flight range theme again 😃

Korok #100: celebration

I did it! 100 koroks!

I have a whole pile of thoughts and feelings about this project but some quick things first:

Will there be more koroks? Probably! I've got a specific couple still on my todo list, plus number of outtakes I might retry or post.

Will you start another 100 things project? Not right away! I've got some other stuff that's getting priority first. But I liked the semi-daily art practice a lot more than I expected so something of that will remain in my life.

Can I still send korok asks? Yes! Sending me an ask with a cute plant or pose is probably the best way to get more koroks. I only get like 2 asks per month so please don't be shy, you'd really make my day giving me an excuse to look up more plants.

Okay one more Rito thought - a nsfw one (even though I'm at work writing this)

Rito couples typically having a more dominant role and a more submissive role that play the topping and bottoming during sex.

The more dominant Rito typically shows their interest by subconsciously raising their crest and puffing their chest feathers to make themselves look big.

Meanwhile the more submissive of the two typically starts subconsciously lifting and fanning their tail feathers - both because there's scent glands back there and the motion fans the scent towards the potential mate, but it's also seen as a flirtatious, risque motion because it's sort of like displaying access.

And both of these motions are entirely unconscious things. They have no control over it, much like the human male body might experience an errection around something attractive.

However, the role of the Rito depends entirely on the mate they're interested in. Sometimes the most dominant Rito will take interest in a mate whom just raises their crest feathers a little higher than them, and suddenly their tail feathers are lifting and fanning instead like subconscious submission.

Anyway, all this to say I find it really funny to imagine Revali considering himself the peak of dominant Rito energy, but suddenly feeling himself start to lift his tail around Link because the Hylian exerts a certain energy that just makes him feel somehow superior or dominant, and it confusing the hell out of the poor Rito because he somehow both hates Link for this but also can't stop getting his tail feathers all twitchy around him like an excited teeneger and it's humiliating.

Meanwhile Link has no idea about any of this and is baffled as to why Revali is so pissed at him. He doesn't even notice the tail thing. Revali is just suddenly twice as grumpy and agitated as usual for no reason but also maybe smells kinda nice.
