pre-movie; set before the events of the film. evelyn carnahan is a libarian working at the cairo museum of antiquities. she is still coming to terms with the deaths of her parents, and being denied yet again to work at the bembridge university in england. 

movie; follows the events of the first mummy film. 

sands of time; after sending the mummy back to the underworld, much changes in evelyn’s life. the young woman returns to live in england, where she settles into her engagement to rick o’connell.  

the mummy returns; set during the events of the mummy returns. 

a quieter life; after the events of the second film, evelyn realizes she needs a break. she gives in her notice at the university, and decides to become a writer, creating novels on her past adventures. 

modern verse; evie carnahan is a librarian that aspires to be a writer. she has a passion for all things egyptian, and longs to visit the land that calls to her.
