A Fanzine created in collaboration with Spazienne, 5X Letterpress, Sparkle Studio e Tanguy Bombonera, based on the exploration of an abandoned railway factory and depot.

“UFO! UFO! TAIWAN RACE”

On October 31st 2023 we went to Taiwan with the aim of exploring the island and create a self-published ‘zine with the material we would have gathered in the days immediately following our arrival, to be presented at the Taipei Art Book Fair, starting from 3rd of November 2023.

Documenting everything with iPhone, portable scanner and camera, we collected graphic and visual material, among the street of Taipei and an abandoned village towards the East China Sea.

So, in a total of 96 hours we did the editing, we designed the layout, we printed and bound the zine in edition of 50 copies, under the title “UFO! UFO! Taiwan race”.

The cover was printed in Risograph at Pinmo Pure Store on 116 g/m2 black paper. The interiors were printed on white, glossy and neon papers at the 7 Eeleven in Wuchang St N°57, Taipei City, disfruiting the Xerox printing machine of the store. Analog drawings sketched outdoor by Luogo Comune have been digitized and added to the layout.

“ダブル トラブル” (Double Trouble) 🇯🇵🇹🇼 is a double look at the Asian metropolis Tokyo and Taipei, visited by @librifinticlandestini & @5x_letterpress between the end of October and the beginning of November 2022, on the occasion of the respective @tokyoartbookfair & @taipeiartbookfair 🔥

“NIGHTJET” During the night of 25 May we catched the Nightjet 235 train in Milan Rogoredo at 21.26, road to Wien for participating in “Fanzineist Vienna”. We brought onboard papers, threads, needles and with our iPhone along with an Epson printer workforce 110 we tried a mission never done before. The aim was to make a fanzine on a train, during the 12 hours journey toward Wien! Scans, photographs, layout of the project, printing, handbinding and trimming of the book, all made on board in one night! Here the result, handbound from 5 to 7 am on the same night, and a video of the mission

“Apriti Sesamo”, a single piece pop up book made with 120 g/m2 Manamant Paper ~ ICMA black sheet of paper faced with embossing and wood effect coloring ⚫️

👉🏻 The book, made on the basis of a leporello, contains elements and figures coming from old books and encyclopedias, cutted by hands. It was designed to stay open like a sculpture, or be turned over page by page.

👉🏻 The work is part of “Apriti Sesamo”, an installation made in Bologna with 5x Letterpress at Piccola Galleria curated by Parsec.

"Ruinenlust" project was born, in collaboration with James Bradburne (director of the Pinacoteca di Brera), Spazienne and 5X Letterpress which aims at researching and exploring abandoned spaces, for the enhancement of their memory and the safeguarding of their future.

The artist's book "VERTIGO" by LFC has been exhibited in New York 🇺🇸 at One World Observatory atop the One World Trade Center 👀

👉🏻 The exhibition "Detour: See the world through creativity" was curated by Moleskine Foundation + Moleskine featured more than 100 selected works from the Collection, combining established artists as well as works created by the participants of our unconventional educational format AtWork.

📓 The book “VERTIGO” by LFC was created starting from a Moleskine Japanese Album, in which thirteen characters were hidden in the folds, hanging on a single thread.
