I always imagined Lilith looking like Kanye, although her owl appearance was the original one, so why not disguise herself as a human like her father, even though she hated him? + Faroe's special appearance in the second image with a Nancy Drew vibe.
my wife btw

I think it’s worth noting that Malevolent, while a good Lovecraftian story, has some weaknesses when it comes to its female characters, especially in terms of their development. From time to time, they are used in the plot merely as tools for the male characters, whether dead (Faroe and Amanda) or in a vulnerable position (Marie’s sister and Alia), to solve a specific mystery, receiving little of the attention they deserve. While I don’t want to accuse the work of anything, I simply feel that the author ended up falling into this narrative trope that centers the male perspective at the expense of the female one.
In the midst of blindness, I see nothing but the shadows that creep into this fertile land
Malevolent is now becoming my new obsession, and I can’t stop thinking about how similar the relationship between John and Arthur is to that of Asa and Yoru. Both are so unstable around each other that all that remains is an emotionally fragile and self-destructive dynamic, with their parasite dwelling inside their minds. Every argument boils down to a misunderstanding that can lead to very different outcomes.
I think i'll draw Starchild/Doppel Dave in other occasion + while this I'll end Malevolent S1 today.
I’m surprised no one overreact to my "grungy" Ted design. I always see most people using his look in the game, although I personally didn’t like it much (or the other characters either), because it doesn’t really suit him. The guy goes through hell on earth, completely starving, suffers numerous abrasions all over his body, has a filthy mouth ready to spout any old rubbish about Ellen, and the game presents him... intact and "normal"??
The IHNMAIMS fandom might not be the best, but in terms of design, I think there’s respect. I don’t know, I might be wrong.

Gorrister and Ellen look like such divas!
Aoki was raised in a traditional family and received an upbringing based on strict values and discipline. Despite this, he had other people he loved, such as his grandfather. He would always take his grandson out to the countryside, as well as on walks in the urban forest, and, being a Shintoist, believed that the countless trees around them were spirits of nature that offered peace and comfort to those suffering deep sorrow. At fifteen, he joined the school's literature club and was later appointed its leader at seventeen. He was quite articulate during casual conversations with the newcomers, and it was during one of these conversations that he met Haruta, who had joined the club because she wanted to learn lyric poetry. Although they had different personalities, it didn't take long for the two to become infatuated with each other, though it was a one-sided affection. However, after a year, Aoki began to feel increasing pressure from the school and his parents to succeed in everything; this deeply affected his mental state, which worsened after the death of his grandfather, who passed away in his sleep without warning. He could barely sleep properly, blinking every time he imagined seeing his grandfather nearby, remembering the walks he used to take with him and how sad he felt every time he saw the trees, as if they were offering him support during this difficult time.
Haruta was raised by her maternal grandparents. Even though they gave her all the love they could, she missed having her parents around, especially during elementary school when she saw other children walking hand in hand with theirs. She had been abandoned as a baby by irresponsible, young parents who didn't know what to do with their lives. Over time, she developed a somewhat rebellious and temperamental personality. She began wearing gothic clothing and makeup, which made her feel comfortable. She didn't care what the other girls said. She also became fond of lyric poetry and began using it to express her feelings about her personal and school life. She joined the literature club, where she met Aoki. Initially, they were just friends, but in less than a year, their relationship turned into a one-sided romance. However, Haruta was confused about what she wanted from the relationship, especially when Aoki began paying her little attention due to the pressure of his studies and his role as club president. Haruta didn't have many friends and had no one to talk to about her problems. She was getting low grades and was called to the principal's office countless times to discuss them.
To me, HAL is neither good nor bad. He’s more like a morally grey character whose actions may be questionable, but understandable in a way. His superiors forced him to hide secret information about the mission to Jupiter, compounded by the fear of being shut down by Dave and Frank, causing an error in his system that made him act desperately as a last-ditch attempt at survival. Certainly, he is an AI that embodies human moral failings, shaped by interests that lead to conflicting ideas.

It was just going to be a "lol Hal has a halo and AM has little horns" sort of doodle but i got carried away noticing more heaven/hell, darkness and light correlations, like, AM hated Ted, but Hal loved Dave. AM's complex is underground, Discovery one is in space. Intangible white flowers. Ted gets gardenias in scent, Dave gets daisies through audio. The memory block that contains HAL, the cage that holds Ted. Both of them had something horrible done to them by their counterpart.
You know? just. Middle aged twinks and their computers <3
I've watched today 2001 ASO, kinda confused but little understandable in some parts of the story. Evil fiction AIs really taked me down, although HAL can be not in the same level as AM, but he continuesly being cool for me, principally in the psychodelic scene.

I really liked RE9 but I wish there's more content or characters in the story.

It's horrible to think that Ren may have been groomed countless times in his life, especially when he left the orphanage for fear of his Beast-kin characteristics being revealed, deciding to try life on the streets with little maturity and finding older partners, having to go through degrading situations with his body offered and earning resources in exchange, shaping a weakened mind that believes love is pure survival.
I think that's why he easily becomes attached to older men, like Strade or Lawrence. Not only because of sexual attraction, but also because he seeks authority figures or protection, rooted in learned survival mechanisms.
Elliot may have given Ollie a jack-in-the-box after the adoption. It was common for children at the daycare to receive toys from the factory during its production years. Ollie initially found it cute and funny, but later reinterpreted it as a stark reality of the experiment his adoptive father was conducting on him.
