A trove of backlogged daily sketches here… couple from December and the rest from first two weeks of Jan. And so life carries on….updates Mon-Fri on Insta https://www.instagram.com/sarahbowieillustration/ #sketchbook#bussketch #illustration #sarahbowieillustration #observation #journal#dublin

This week’s sketchbook digest… a journal of my daily commute to work and the people I see on my bus. Update’s daily Mon-Fri at https://www.instagram.com/sarahbowieillustration/
I’ve started keeping a sketchbook diary of my morning commute to work on the bus. Updates daily Mon - Fri over at https://www.instagram.com/sarahbowieillustration/
Here’s a taste of my #LiveComicsReading NEXT MON 22, 6.30PM @InstCervantes Dublin. Part of @ILFDublin - International Literature Festival Dublin. Free but booking essential.
A useful step-by-step guide to the art of tea-making.
Delighted to be part of this exhibition which opens tomorrow in La Maison des Auteurs Angouleme - JAN 26 at 6PM! Check it out if you’re there for the Festival :)

Some photos from this month’s Comics Lab which took place in the salubrious Liquor Rooms in Dublin. It was also the launch of the Lab’s second anthology SPECIMEN, funded and created by the Comics Lab community. Organised and co-hosted by Debbie Jenkinson and myself (Sarah Bowie), it was a great night and we’re just thrilled that so many people came! Vive la Comics! x
SPECIMEN will soon be available online. If you’d like to get your hands on a limited edition print run for just €3 plus p&p, then email thecomicslab [@] gmail [dot] com.
Some pics from launch night of SPECIMEN at this month’s The Comics Lab. Great night! Thanks to all involved.
Review: Fourteen euros in Primark by Sarah Bowie (Lidless Comics)
Thanks to Tom Murphy for this very nice and unexpected review of my comic FOURTEEN EUROS IN PRIMARK which is still available for digital download at https://gumroad.com/l/sEzdU
First 2 pages from a short story I have in Stray Lines latest anthology. It launches tomorrow night at The Comics Lab and will also be at The Lakes International Comic Art Festival thanks to Matthew Melis of Non-Gravity.
This Tuesday! At TheComicsLab, Dublin.
Delighted to be part of this anthology. It launches tomorrow night at The Comics Lab. There’ll be live readings, cocktails and lot’s of stuff going on, so if you’re in Dublin check it out.
Also, a big thank you to Matthew Melis of Non-Gravity who’ll be bringing this plus lots more of the Stray Lines Collective’s work to The Lakes International Comic Art Festival this weekend. Go Matt!
Another insightful report from Angouleme :)
Here’s me in Angouleme, doing a residency in La Maison des Auteurs.
A sneaky-peeky snapshots from a new story which will by published in Stray Lines second anthology later in September. The comic explores the idea of duality (which was the theme of the anthology) from the point of view of a teenage girl on a school trip in 90s France. More peeks to come!
