o’dimm grows ever fonder of the dry humor offered by his stubborn prey. until now, every offer has been refuted with a stubborn quip or a diluted threat. but it would take a fool to turn away another round of firewater — a show of good FAITH between acquaintances.

NO KNOWN SIGILS or rituals are capable of binding evil incarnate. while a summoning conjuration is sure to attract gaunter's attention, he cannot be forced to appear. accomplished mages & sorceresses have tried to tame him like a djinn, only to meet an untimely fate.

the continent is littered with humble shrines honoring him — simple wooden fixtures & stone altars with crude runes carved into the surface. most are left to the mercy of the weather, long abandoned by any visitants. in isolated areas, however, rituals & sacrifices are still practiced. everything from flowers to crows with parted ribcages adorn the ground, for mater mirror specifies little. on occasion, commoners will utter prayers to the ominous god & be granted an audience — the frequency of these meetings depends entirely upon HIS whim.
