One of the few things I haven’t minded about Frozen's success is the fact that it's helped Idina Menzel make a stronger leap from stage-fame to more mainstream-fame than the film version of RENT or her stint on Glee did.
Still, while “Let it Go” is a decent song - largely because of Idina’s powerhouse voice - it’s basically a poor man’s “Defying Gravity”.
So those of you who love “Let it Go” but have yet to hear the original Broadway recording of “Defying Gravity”, listen and experience a powerful, life-changing eargasm.

I’m going to die
"…Nah. As long as you’re actually being fun."
Bounces in the chair slightly, the furniture squeaking loudly under his weight.
"...I was going to do something mean, but I've decided not to." Leans back on his desk.
"I don't have it in me to be mean today."
"…The floor is lava."
Jumps on his desk.
A second to consider. He slowly and reluctantly moves to a chair and climbs up, standing on it with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Are you under the influence?"
"..."
"No, wanna know why?"
"What? Just say whatever it is already, man."
"...The floor is lava."
Jumps on his desk.
"Come over."
"That look…makes me not want to."
Inches towards him anyways.
Riley pauses for a moment and leans over to whisper in his ear.
"Brent."
"Fuck. Fine."
"Come over."
"I wanna know ‘the thing’ but why the fuck do I have to come closer?"
"Because if other people heard it wouldn't be special."
"Why can’t you say it from this distance?"
"...Well, if you honestly don't want to know. I guess you don't have to know about the thing."
"Hey, hey Brent. Come here."
"I've got something important to tell you."
"It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that you pour the cereal in first and then you pour the milk. If you do it the other way around you will be executed."
"That’s a bit harsh don’t you think?"
"Not at all they deserve it."
"It doesn't take a genius to figure out that you pour the cereal in first and then you pour the milk. If you do it the other way around you will be executed."
Riley looks at him in annoyance and stomps on his foot right out before they get to the coffee machine. He hurriedly walks inside and goes right for the worn machine before the other can get there.
Brent lets out a yelp when his foot is stomped on and takes a step back, stopping to raise his leg so he could hold his foot. “Fuck! Dammit, Riley!” After a minute of grumbling swears, he lowers his foot and follows the Lieutenant into the room.
"I didn't do anything to you," He was brewing the shitty office-grade coffee to his preferred style. He was leaning against the table waiting for it to finish.
"Just from the look on his aide’s face, Rooks knew it was going to be one of those days…"
