kaibrasher:
kai’s shift had gone by with dazzling speed. there had been a large amount of paperwork, which kai hardly ever enjoyed, but at least he managed to finish them in time. grabbing his wallet, keys, and phone, kai left the large building, choosing to take a walk by the beach to clear his head, he didn’t expect to see a familiar face, especially not that late at night. wearing on the hood of his jacket, kai slowly approached, making sure his steps were hard enough on the ground of the parking lot so that they could be heard. once she stopped walking, he stilled in the shadows, waiting for her next move. upon her words, however, he chuckled quietly. “i’m here to kill you…” kai trailed off, his tone weighted in complete mischief as he ambled closer, one step at a time, like serial killers did in movies. “— for not ever doing the slow-mo run like i ask you to every day before work.”
Panic was quickly rising in her gut, forcing herself to look back only to see a man walking behind her, the hood of his jacket hiding most of his face. This couldn’t possibly be happening to her against, could it? What were the odds of one person having two stalkers in one lifetime. Slim to none, right? His words would’ve scared the living shit out of her if she hadn’t recognized his voice almost immediately. Walking up to him, she pulled the hood off his head harshly and proceeded to punch his shoulder as hard as she could. “What’s wrong with you? Do you know how scared I was?” She hissed, clearly unhappy with him. “Just like I tell you everyday when you make that request, this isn’t Baywatch and I’m no Pamela Anderson.”
