Sunglasses
I think famous women wear sunglasses to hide when they don't wear makeup. It's easy solution to avoiding plain eyes...and you look cool.
Been asking about this all week; thoughts on the brown car color: like it or hate it.
Have you heard about the Bills Mafia yet?

The Cheap Hotel Project
So this weekend I'm venturing to NYC. I'm pretty proud of myself, having reserved a good rate at a Hilton property fairly last minute (3 weeks in advance). However it isn't cheap. NYC this weekend is BIG. There's a lot of stuff going on. The rate I got was $305 a night! Yeah, I know. I keep checking all the sites for better deals. One rate I found cheaper was at a Comfort Inn, but the ratings on Trip Advisor were nasty. So I cancelled it. I've read on many budget travel websites to just call the hotel itself and ask if there are any last minute deals.
This is going to sound ridiculous, but I'm chicken about it. Why? I mean the worst they are going to say is no. I don't even know these people and I'll probably never speak to them again...but I don't want to call. I'm meek. But I'm going to do it. I just wish my nerves would go away. I feel like I will call and sound stupid on the phone and say something dumb. I keep rehearsing my lines and what I'll say. How dumb. I can confront anyone face to face, but calling bothers me so much. Ugh. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
Bedtime War
So my two almost three year old is currently laying on his bedroom floor crying about not wanting to sleep. It's almost 10:30pm. He keeps dozing off and then screaming put in protest. You've got to hand it to the kid. I mean he did put up a strong fight...he's been going for two hours! Only problem with fighting that...mom's tired= lame response time on my part. All's quiet on the western front right now. Perfect. Just in time for me to sleep.
Time for sauce!
Recipe: Rhubarb Lavender Crumble this could be great or it could be awful...I'm willing to try it.
