I always remember this being my favourite era of MTV.
This trumps my Streetview photo project.

I want these.
The 'man' is banning the clothesline, what you gonna do about it?
'Drying for freedom is a documentary that criss-crosses the world to unravel the reasons and consequences for the banishing of the clotheslines in favour of tumble dryers.
Corporate America sold us an electric dream: replacing simple centuries-old outdoors line-drying with the electricity hungry dryer, increasing the demand for dirty coal energy across the globe. Now, developing nations are starting their own love affair with an electric utopia exponentially increasing the demands on an already threatened environment.
From the laundry-less gardens of sunny California to India’s communal open air Laundromats, DRYING FOR FREEDOM is a voyage into the new environmental battlefield where money, status and class come first and our planet is a poor second.'
I had the absolute pleasure of working on this awesome film and it feels so good to finally be able to share it with people.
You can get your hands on an early copy via the http://hangingoutfestival.com/ in April/May this year. Anyone can get involved and organise a private or public screener for the film.
Some little characters i made a while back, just for fun.
Some amazing motion graphics from Blackmeal team, a real homage to Marvel.
Teppei was always a hero of mine from his Thrice days, his style and the fact he made his own guitar peddles always had me hooked on anything he made.
If he’s making leather goods now, i know they’re going to be amazing.
This video from Artists and Craft/ApK captures this beautifully.

PART 1
Inspired by Photographer Michael Wolf, i decided to put some time(hours) into trawling the streets of my home town Johannesburg and other parts of South Africa via StreetView looking for beautiful chance pictures, from there i cropped as i wanted and played with color etc… It was such a relaxing project, deciding which way to go, remembering old places in my neighbourhood, loads of memories, no control, i loved every part of it.
