Otter pups are highly dependent on their mothers, who need to regularly fluff the pup’s dense fur to keep them warm, and show them how to hunt and break open different kinds of shellfish.

Friendships are just as important as any other relationship. A friendship can make you or break you. Friends have power in our lives and we have to be careful whom we trust. You have to evaluate your friends and ask yourself, what do they bring to the table?Different friends play different roles. One friend could bring laughter. One friend could bring wisdom. One friend could be endless support and encouragement. Everyone should bring something to the table. It’s important that you are giving what you’re expecting to receive in return.The problem with a lot of friendships is that we let enemies hang around disguised as friends. That person who isn’t really inspiring you or pushing you forward. They are just there. They drown with you in your misery by listening to your complaints and feeding them. They are there in the good times but not providing any good times of their own. They don’t challenge you. They don’t shut you up and make you be positive when you’re being negative. They don’t slow you down when you’re living reckless and calling it a good time. Pay attention to the people in your circle and ask yourself if they are really your friends.A friend should challenge you. Their truth should upset you at times because it always hits when you don’t want to hear it. They should make you uncomfortable with being mediocre and settling. They should make you want to step up your game in every area of your life. A friend isn’t always there to have a good time.
