it was a great time of september 2011. my club Fenerbahce had a game against Manisaspor, another Turkish League team, but because of the violence in the stands at the previous game, Turkish Football Federation ruled that there will be no fans at the next 2 games. so the game would be behind closed doors. but soon after announcing it, they’ve changed their decision and said “only women and children will be allowed”, probably thinking there won’t be a big crowd of females since not so many females come to the stadiums to watch the games even at normal occasions anyways. little did they know…

…how 41.000 female Fenerbahce fans would fill the Sukru Saracoglu stadium, sing all the chants and anthems (including the dirty ones, well…), support their team just as good (maybe even better) as male fans, always stay in the game and react to every single thing since they all knew the rules of the game…

This happened in 2011, but you still insisting on this particular belief that women can’t be into football in the year of 2018 and this post is the reason why it sounds like a complete bullshit to my ears.
