life-increase-by-one-heart spread the love in New Mexico, thanks to my awesome sauce brother Jeff, sis-in-law Stephanie, niece Sophia & nephew Thomas!!!  You can find heart containers at Tent Rocks National Monument, Loretta Chapel which is home to the "Miraculous Staircase," somewhere on the New Mexico & Colorado border along the Chama to Antonito narrow gauge rail line, and finally (and most appropriately) Roswell, NM!!!

Yarnbombed at Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh. My fear of heights got the best of me, & I stopped at the last bit before the final ascent to the top. I chose a nice quiet spot away from the crowds pushing upwards to place my heart container:)

life-increase-by-one-heart is hitting the road for a couple of weeks! I needed to shrink my Zelda-inspired project even more as it expands out into the world. Check back for updates!!

life increase went on the road in late March to the University of Rochester! I was a Visiting Artist at the Sage Art Center during another site-specific installation exhibition (titled RESPAWN: The Scourge at Rush Rhees), and yarnbombed a quiet courtyard next to Rush Rhees Library.  Are my heart containers still there? If so, send me some images to post!

You can yarnbomb a place....can you yarnbomb a person? This Valentine's Day,  I wanted to do something ambitious for my "life-increase-by-one-heart" yarnbombing project.  Instead of yarnbombing a place, I decided to knit a "Legend of Zelda"-inspired kids sweater...for charity!

Lion Brand Yarn's website has a great search tool for finding charities in your area that accept knitted & crocheted items...everything from hats, scarves, blankets, sweaters, toys...whatever you can think of!  Spread some love this Valentine's Day!
