It’s said that the night after Halloween, La Novia Llorando can be seen wandering the pathways of the Circus. Legend has it that she was a rêveur, to be married on the first of November. But her fiance disappeared on their wedding day, and left nothing behind but a note that read “Meet me by the clock…” So she went to the Circus and waited, waited, waited…and when dawn broke, and he had not appeared, she vowed to be at the clock on every November 1st, until he came back to her. On the nights between, she wanders the paths, crying quietly, and whispering his name. No one knows for sure what his name was, though, since every man who hears her says it is their own.

It’s odd - this first started decades ago, and yet she is still so young and lovely.

But doing such things as passing under the eaves of houses, you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning, you will not be perplexed, though you will still get the same soaking.
