Noel joined Goldie onstage at the uber-famous gay nightclub Heaven. This happened November 5, 1998. Heaven is one of the biggest long running gay spot in London and held different nights centred on rave culture (including Rage, drum and bass driven nights which happened on Thursday between '88 and '93). So Goldie did a live show there in '98, same year he released his second album When Saturn Returnz. This is the album Noel played on, with the track Temper Temper, and maybe that's why he joined Goldie onstage that night, to play the guitar for a live rendition. Maybe he didn't do anything at all and just messed with Goldie's gear. That's impossible to say because I haven't found more details on that night, and all I'm working with is this:

and Noel's recollections of the night from the same book (and he doesn't mention the stage part at all, he's just being cute about Goldie):

So yeah, you can say Noel went onstage at the gay club yay (but not within an exclusively gay context). However, Noel is apparently an habitue of the place because he was already spotted there same year, Oct 17th, at Cher's album release party (Noel was there for the first ever live rendition of Believe!!!!).
