GC was quiet as he continued to pet Firewall for a bit, “We share a mutual concern for Alpha.”

Firewall was glad that Alpha had calmed down. He had the odd moment of frustration, but was generally much more stable than he had been previously.

This wasn’t good though. She’d had a much easier time calming him down before. She used so much more energy this time and it greatly worried her. A familiar feeling washed over her; it felt like something was calling. Looking cautiously at Alpha, she nudged against him.

“A-Alpha?” she said timidly. “I have to go for a little while. I’ll be back as soon as I can.” Alpha simply looked at the rabbit, feeling somewhat irritated by her leaving once more.

“Fine,” he said, sounding blunt in his delivery. Firewall nuzzled up to him.

“I’ll be back soon. Please be careful,” she said worriedly, before hopping off and disappearing.

A little while later, she located the source of the person calling her; the purple shadow, GameCrazed. She had been called by him several times before, but she sensed greater urgency this time.

“I came as soon as I could,” Firewall said, stood before the mysterious figure.

He turned around to see the rabbit, glad it got here quickly.  “Thank you for coming.” He crouched down so she could hop up to his arms.

“I fear for Alpha’s safety, as you know. He is one of my only friends in this world... I want him safe... and you play an important part of that protection.” When she hopped up, GC began to pet her gently, every now and then, pink code left his hand and went into her.

“I don’t know how he ended up like this, but until I find out, you just stay near him and keep him under control as much as possible.” He continued to pet Firewall, even after code stopped leaving his hand to go into her.

“And I hope I find out soon...”

She held in her squeak as he touched her, just nodding.  “I’m fine, I promise... thank you for worrying, Vincent...” She glared in the direction of Kajet as well, then looked back.

“I like your outfit... are you... back to normal now?”

Alpha smiled warmly. It was so great to be able to spend some time talking to GC; normally he was so quiet and unresponsive, despite his caring nature. As they both continued wandering through the area, Alpha took in his surroundings. He looked back briefly and saw what looked like intense damage to some of the scenery. He shuddered a little before returning his focus and continuing forward.

“So, GC, how have you been? It seems like forever since we last got to even see each other, let alone hang out.”

GC kept moving, looking around, seeing the destruction, but not paying any much mind, no matter how much it bugged him not to react to it.

“I have been well. Nylocke was curious as to your where abouts the other day, but- as he put it- did not with to encroach in case you did not wish to be disturbed.” He looked to Alpha again, “You have acquired a bunny, and your character model got an update, I would say you have been very busy.”

Feeling his cheeks warm up he got the cups out for them and poured some tea handing it over. “careful, its hot.”

Sitting down at the table he took occasional sips feeling the memories flood back of better times; “INKS a childhood friend of mine,very shy and isloated at the start, but he was so caring to others. I wanted to make him feel happy like he had made me. It wasnt easy at first, god i wish it was, he was very skittish and often didnt understand his emotions so he would run off. But when i figured out he was on TOME and that he could smile more naturally i aimed to get close to him where he felt comfortable and well…” Charlie smiled fondly; “Here we are now.”

As Charlie spoke, Sofdti smiled at the story. She even started beating her wings a little faster. She quickly sat down, still holding the cup of tea she gave him, blowing over it occasionally.  “I love stories like that. It’s so cute to hear about the bonds people have made with each other. INK is lucky to have you.” She giggled, “Sorry, I get a love for sappy love things from one of my parents.”

When she thought the tea was cool enough, she took a sip. She physically seemed to relax,smiling gently, her wings also drooping. “Hmmmmm... this is sooooo relaxing..... I see why Colin likes it so much...” She took another sip.

Sofdti jumped at the box falling, not realizing he had something in his hand. “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to startle you!” She floated over and sat on the counter.

“And if by ‘with Kajet’ you mean ‘unsure what to think now that your exact polar opposite was drunk and in love with you, dragging you into a drunken embrace and having to beg Vincent to help get me out of his clutches’, then yes… I tucked him into bed just now… I don’t know what’s happening… I want to talk to Vincent… but he’s not the Vincent I know…” eventually while she talked, she curled up on the counter, holding her knees into herself.

Laughing gently to himself he grabbed the box and took out the tea bags emptying them into a small pot next to the suger and turned the kettle on.

“I thought itd be best i avoided it until the M!A was over, but Kajet being a love drunk sounds like something i should be recording- Oh yes, tea?” He asked opening the closet grabbing some mugs.

At the question of tea, Sofdti perked up, and hovered over slightly. "I have heard of this... mystical drink before... but never had the chance to have it, so yes please, I would love to try it."

She sighed after a bit. "At least you seem to be getting some joy out of this situation, I cannot imagine how Viola is faring in all of this." She looked over to Charlie, and pouted to herself slightly since, once again, she couldn't read him like any other person she came accross. "So... how do you know Ink?"

Sofdti smiled slightly, getting the sheets of the bed and covering him, tucking him into the bed. When she heard the noise, she slowly hovered out, seeing Charlie again.

“Hello, Charlie… are you ok?”

Jumping from the sudden noise Charlie dropped the box on the floor as he turned around only to sigh letting his heart rate calm down; “Ah,…i didnt know you were still here” Bending down he grabbed the box and smiled at her happy to have someone else to interact with. “were you with kajet?”
