A year ago today I had knee surgery, which sucked. But all in all, it was not the worst thing that could have happened. My family and @skanktalk helped me beyond what I could describe, so thanks.

And I have tons of gratitude to Good Company, Tom Wallisch & Tom Yaps for inviting me on this shoot, even though I was still in a knee brace.

This photo was taken at sunrise. I was taken up to the jump on a snowmobile by @ride7springs staff, then slid totally out of control on one leg down the frozen inrun with about 100 pounds of flashes and camera stuff. Somehow I saved my new knee and gear then made this picture.
