University starts tomorrow.
Am I panicking? Of course I am!
However, I'm quite bored, I did all my prep work and my brother has my laptop for the day because of the Steven Universe Marathon and I did my Lunch Prep for the Week and my clothes are ready so its a pretty cool day today.
I'll do a post today, I'll show you my Dubu Dumo items that I got and my backpack(s) for the school year (reminds me I should make those reviews lol)
Today I went to Youngpoong Bookstore (YP Books /Ā ģķė¬øź³ ). Like Kyobo, this is a bookstore with a large selection of various stationary! This was actually the first bookstore I visited in Korea and I spent about an hour and a half in the store the first time I went!Ā
I decided to buy a notebook (with a small planner section in the front) for studying Korean! So itās going to be my new study planner! Iāll upload photos of it later since the inside is really pretty! I also bought some other small stationary bits as seen in the photo above. ^^

I was lost but I'm back again š
screw people who say giving up isnāt an option, sometimes not giving up isnāt an option in comparison to whatās best for peopleās mental or physical health. so you know what? giving up is totally okay!! if you donāt feel like you can do something any more, stop what youāre doing, figure out whatās best for your wellbeing and take a new path!!
on a side note: i hope everyone reading this knows that theyāre amazing and deserve the best in life š

[25/100 days of productivity]
So guys, the date for my MIR exam has been released... š± weāre going live on the 25th of January 2020!!!! Omg, I canāt actually believe thereās a proper exam day set now ššš Weāre exactly FOUR months away from the D-day, and Iām starting to feel the pressure building... Iām losing my apetite more and more each day (donāt worry, Iām eating well, my mom makes sure of that, itās just that I donāt feel like eating anything) and I feel taut like a bowstring, but we have four months ahead to do so much work and achieve our goals šŖš» (I finally have a specialty in mind, but donāt ask me about it because I donāt want to jinx it!!)

Hey, you. Yes, you.
I hereby give you permission to hit the metaphorical reset button.
Take a deep breath, and then let it out slowly, paying attention to how it feels to let it out.
Get a drink of water, drink it mindfully, and then reset and go from there.
Start a new habit that you keep wanting to implement, become the person that you want to be. Make a conscious decision to become that person and live up to your full potential to the best of your ability.

how to be a more productive personāļø
review your goals: if you want to be more productive, the first thing is that you have to know what youāre working towards!
if you donāt have them written down, make sure to put them down in a safe space (one that you can come back to and review) such as your planner, bullet journal, phone, or more. and it can be helpful to write them down on sticky notes and place them around places you frequent like your mirror, locker, or door.Ā
if youāre just coming up with some goals, donāt make too many or else you wonāt accomplish anything. focusing on one or two at a time will give you less stress. it might be helpful to make monthly or twelve week goals.
break those goals into actionable steps: even with just one goal, you might feel super intimidated to get things done. so make a list with all of the teeny tiny things you can do that will slowly help you reach your goal.Ā
prioritize:Ā make time for the things that are important to you and cut out the things that are a waste of time (social media, television, and anything that isnāt getting you where you want to be).Ā
donāt wait for motivation: itās so much more important to have discipline than motivation. while motivation doesnāt come up all the time, discipline makes you so that youāre trained to get up regardless of how unmotivated you are.Ā
just get up and do something so that there are no zero days! sometimes i like to remind myself of the 1 percent rule (by james clear):Ā āmaking a choice that is 1 percent better or 1 percent worse seems insignificant in the moment,Ā but over the span of moments that make up a lifetime these choices determine the difference between who you are and who you could beā.Ā
in your everyday to-do list, be specific: instead of saying āstudyā, say āstudy chemistry notes for one hour after i eat dinnerā. this gets rid of any indecisions you might have, so youāll know exactly what youāre doing and when.
take breaks: in between your work, schedule in some breaks for ten to fifteen minutes to avoid burnout. here are some ideas:
read a book
go outside for a walk/run
put on a face mask
clean your room
get a healthy snack
drink some water
journalĀ
be patient:Ā itās a very hard thing to be productive, and procrastination is something that i struggle with all of the time, so i know that it can get pretty frustrating! donāt worry about being productive 24/7, because that is an expectation none of us can truly meet!Ā but i believe in you to do your bestš
