Sometimes your not that pure
Just STFU When your trying your hardest to be non judgemental open minded and understanding of all forms of oppression, just take a moment to STFU. You come across self righteous af.

Its not all attitude, you have to dress for success
Tomorrow I start my first day if work. My first full-time job I intend to invest in and make a career out of. As I prepare I reflect on my process; The process of applying, easily scrolling through the seek app from my iPhone, saving possible jobs I may want to apply for from the comfort of my bed. Realising I needed Microsoft word to perfect my CV and cover letters I asked my grandmother if I could use her laptop which she graciously brought over and left for me to use for as long as needed. Nights before prospective interviews I stayed up searching through my wardrobe with my BF pushing me to try on outfit after outfit. A cousin, an uncle, an aunty, a grandmother all willing to drive me to the various places I needed to get to for an interview, waiting outside for up to an hour for me to finish. Encouraging words and support when I felt discouraged or doubtful, unconditional love for my potential. Feeding me, buying me new tops and skirts so I could look the part and feel the part. The morning of each of these interviews I woke in a warm bed, had a nutritious breakfast, showered, put makeup on, or asked My talented cousin to do it for me, asked how I looked, heavily sprayed my perfume I got for my birthday and left dressed for success. Roof over my head, food on the table, new clothes and unconditional support all contributed to my success which is a blessing. It has given me the privilege and opportunity to work hard and apply myself. Attitude counts for a lot in life but basic material resources and the encouragement from loved ones are vital steps in our journey that should never be forgotten.
i love my city
Are we a generation of love with no faith
Often I see people say "never think you irreplaceable" "don't let yourself get too comfortable" "your never the only option" about relationships. Often we think of 'not ready to commit' as being unfaithful - making yourself physically or emotionally available to another person - "cheating". What about our commitment and faith to the unknown though. Are we truly committing to our partners if we leave space in our hearts for the doubt. We know for a fact that before meeting this person we call our partner we lived full and separate lives, but why keep that past as a security to reassure you for your future. Are you truly committed if you are not willing to let go of these securities and pasts and instead invest in the future, experience the vulnerability and discover a dependant self? Are you brave enough to leave yourself open to the possibility that they are the one you are destined for?
