Freebie: Printable Labels

Hi everyone! :) So I've decided to make something out of my interest in graphic design, typography and other stuff like that - SHARE! I'll be uploading my personal digital whatnots for everyone to download and use for personal use. From labels, fonts, cards and all those stuff. This should be fun. :D

For my first share, here's a project that some might have seen before. A set of labels I used when I organized my baking stuff in the pantry. Read my full entry here.

This package includes a set of printable labels in three layouts - [1] Dark Version with Basic Baking Ingredients Labels [2] Dark Blank Version, and [3] Light Blank Version. Here's the preview of this package:

Sweet Adventure

My love for food and the kitchen continues :)

During the weekend, while Mr. T's out for an overnight outing with his colleagues I spent my time food-porning online. I came across some really interesting recipes, most of which looks very easy to make and requires very few ingredients. So when Sunday came, I asked Mr. T to pickup some grocery items on his way home.

Then I made this :)

My first dibs on a refrigerator cake. A four-ingredient dessert that only needs 15mins preparation. Recipe follows. :D

Creamy Peach RefCake

Prep Time: 15minutes | Total Time: 3hours (includes chilling) | Yield: Serves 12

Ingredients:

16oz All-Purpose Cream (2 Cartons)

5oz Sweetened Condensed Milk (1 Small Can)

30oz Canned Peach Halves

10-12pcs. Graham Crackers

Directions:

1. In a large bowl, whip all-purpose cream and condensed milk together until thoroughly mixed. Set this filling aside. You can adjust the sweetness of this filling by adding/reducing the amount of condensed milk according to your taste. You can also add a teaspoon of vanilla extract if you like. 

2. Slice your peach halves into smaller pieces, anyway you want them. I saw some slicing them in cubes, I sliced mine lengthwise. You can also substitute peach with mango or any fruit that you think best goes with cream. :)

3. On a rectangular baking pan/dish alternately layer your Graham crackers, cream filling and peach halves. My layers from bottom up - Graham > cream filling > peach > Graham > cream filling > peach > cream filling.  I quickly coated my Graham crackers with the peach syrup  to soften it a bit and to add more flavor.

4. Crush the remaining of your Grahams and sprinkle on top of your cake. Chill for 2-3hours, or even overnight. :)

I eventually ended up freezing mine and I like it better. It turned out like an ice cream cake :D
