Everytime I learn something new, i feel much closer to my #goals. Leaving a full.time role in financial services to build a brand and business has been "different " in the best way possible. Ive been building, connecting, collaborating and learning from artists, business owners and creators I admire. This is the most alive I have felt in a long time and im really just now catching my stride. All in all everything going forward is another dart thrown; each time I'm aiming for the bullseye. Its a lil easier being patient when youre building something bigger than the obvious. People ask me all the time..."what do you do?" I simply say, "I just live" thats all. I only say that because im going to use everyday to bust my ass to do everything i am passionate about. Between working, working and working it gets hard, but its all coming together. I commend your careers, your scholastic accomplishments, your credentials but if it isn't backing your passion or putting you in the position to do what you love...then its a waste of time. Changing the Narrative: I am completely grateful and full of appreciation. I started a Non Profit about a month or so ago, The Royal City Collaboration. We are currently collaborating with CMPDs ReachOut Program to teach thier at risk teens and #young adults about the buidling blocks of recording a #song and song production. Most importantly, everything is paired with #skills and #ideas around being more #productive citizens on a path to success. I often learn more from them. Above is a picture from the very #first session this past #weekend. It was a success and very #powerful. I am grateful to be able to give back while im on the come up and I am excited to have the opportunity to impact and bring hope.
