‼️ATTENTION BABY ŁÎFTÉRŠ‼️
the first picture of this post is the first thing I ever lifted, a pin from špêñçérś.
the second picture is a picture of my first haul. this was taken the day I started śtèáłîñg, during setember of 2019.
the third and fourth pictures are photos of one of my most recent hauls.
as you can see, the last pictures have a lot more stuff in them. a lot of people who have just started łifting want to get hauls that look simular to that. the feeling of taking things from a store, the idea that anything you want can be yours for free, is overwhelming and it can cause you to get greedy. but it is also what will get you caught. these two haul photos were taken a year apart. it took me a year of practicing, of learning techniques, of making mistakes, of growing and learning, to łift the way I do now. I didn’t just wake up one day with the ability to leave a mall with $500 worth of stuff, without being noticed. I started off with lipgloss and pins. with putting stuff in my sleeves and pockets. with taking only one or two things at a time. it’s so important to start small and to not get greedy. when you’re looking at huge haul pictures, done by other lifters on tumblr, it’s so easy to forget that the person taking those pictures has probably been łifting for months, if not years. they know all about concealing quickly, avoiding cameras, and most importantly they know what to do if they are sussed or approached by loss prevention.
always remember that łifting is a skill that requires time and practice to develop. please don’t get frustrated if you can’t łift big items yet or that you can’t seem to get big hauls. baby hauls are just as amazing as big hauls. whether you’re łifting from the dollar tree or sephora, you’re still an awesome lifter. all that truly matters is that you’re being careful and safe, and that you don’t get caught.
