Oh hey, I have this blog! I tweet more often but I usually forget I have this blog too. News: nothing. I rage-trained yesterday after I argued with a friend, and while anger was much more powerful than a scoop of C4, I may have gone a bit hard because I have not been this sore in so long, I feel like my entire lower body is giving up. Definitely did not miss rubbing IcyHot on my ass/thighs 😓🔥 I've had to change my training since the 1st, I have reached a pretty stubborn strength plateau and I need to break it and keep moving forward. I started deloading the pull-up assist machine a few weeks ago, I'm now pulling about 100 pounds. I'm trying to take off 5 pounds a week, so in 6 months hopefully I'll be doing strict pull-ups. Hopefully. I found out that I can make cardio go by faster by using Memrise while I do it. I usually do my cardio at the end of my workout, and on an elliptical machine. I can do 20 minutes go by really quickly, so this is my new M.O. Food has to be tweaked also. I'll have to eat my oatmeal in the late afternoon instead of the morning (pre gym fuel), amongst other things. I'll update the appropriate page shortly. For now, it's bed time, as I also need sleep.
I hate diet talk, I hate the normalised fucking diet pills, diet shakes, meal supplements, I hate the weight loss tips in magazines and the constant glorification of calorie free, I fucking hate it

Today’s food prep is never-ending!!!
Summer is almost here, the weather is starting to be nicer and warmer, so I feel like eating less curries and more salads. So I ventured this week’s meals on the produce my market had on sale - tomatoes, cucumbers, and kale. They also had canned chickpeas (hurray no soaking!), so I decided on chickpeas for protein in said salads, and also fresh hummus! They also had pork tenderloins on sale, and that means one thing: homemade lean sausages!
So here I go. Make two batches of sausages; one more of the breakfast kind to eat with egg whites and veggies, and another one with merguez type spices (since I had fresh harissa that I made on friday on hand). I made hummus. I made a garlic and mint dressing for my salads. I cooked bulgur and quinoa. I cooked my two kinds of sausage. I cooked my kale. I chopped and packed cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, melon, oranges and grapefruit. I still have to make tabouleh, and cook my egg whites for tomorrow’s breakfast. And portion out spinach. And pack my vitamins/supplements.
I’m SO done with today’s cooking. This was a stupid idea!
Oh my fucking god. I am CRYING. Oh hahahahahahahahhahaha.
