Tw:food, mishandling of autism

I was trying to research into a good breakfast that I could do for energy because my cereals right now aren't making me energised anymore.

So I look up easy breakfasts and the layout of information for my tired brain makes me upset. And the food sounds like the worst way to start my day.

Alright so I will add in autism to the search maybe I will get stuff that will be easier to digest mentally and physically.

First article is directed at parents with kids with autism. Little needling in my brain there. If the kids got autism the parents have it too and also what the hell is with this constant assumption that it's always kids with autism like they never grow up or as soon as they reach an age they're cured and no longer autistic.

Whatever, I keep reading hoping to get help. First fucking thing listed is a health smoothie. I personally don't like smoothies but I am willing to hear out if I can just get the help I need.

But written in the paragraph on the smoothie is that you can sneak food that the kids don't like into the smoothie. This enraged me.

It is so infuriating the hiding of ingredients and then acting smugly that they enjoyed the food and it had the gross veggies that they didn't like in it. Now the kid has trust issues on top of that. I to this day refuse sweet potatos unless it's intensely rude because of this bait and switch bullshit.

Don't lie to anyone about what is in their food.

And I still have to find a new breakfast dammit!

If anyone has read this far thankyou for your patience and please know that I have done eggs for breakfast I spent years doing that I am just sick of the eggs and the cleaning and love how quick a cereal is right now.
