Have you ever lifted from Claire's?? If so any tips?

yeah, I prefer icing but they’re about the same. go when there’s a few people so that sa’s will be focused on them the entire time. the 2 biggest hurdles are the super attentive sa’s and the giant mirror camera that’s usually in the middle. take what you want, and discreetly conceal it behind a display or something making sure that NO ONE sees you. play it casual when you enter, look, and leave. if you even look like you’re going to steal, they’ll be on your ass in .2 seconds. good luck!

Tape - After using the detacher hook, tape it under a shelf or seat in the dressing room. 

Spandex - Use to hide smaller items and prevent them from slipping out from concealment. 

Wire Cutter - I only bring this on the big “buys”. Like, when I steal a Micheal Kors off display. 

Shopping Bags - After entering a mall and retreating to the bathroom, I take out three different bags: Forever 21, Bath & Body Works, and American Eagle. Almost all malls have these stores and you look less suspicious already carrying bags as though you’ve purchased something. Keep these bags in good shape! 

Chip Bag / Starbucks Cup - I hate having loose jewelry that I’ve lifted in my purse, so any small items I’ll put in one of them so if I do decide to pay for anything they can’t possibly see what I’ve taken.

Guys I left the store I was lifting at and got all the artsy random shit that I went in for BUT As I was walking out the security guard stopped me. I thought I was dead and gone but I kept it together. The security guard was this young guy who was kinda cute and I was thinking “why did the hot one have to catch me?” When he goes “yo Girl I’ve seen you around and I was wondering if I could get ur number?”. I shit you not I almost had a melt down. So yeah I got out and I’m home, I also gave the security guard my insta cause he was cute and I wanna see if I can get inside details on the store 😏😝

I’m so sorry to hear. I got caught about a month ago now and spent a couple nights in jail myself. I was originally charged with a felony but the detectives felt bad for me and reduced it to a misdemeanor (petty theft). I’m so scared for my court date, I dont want to go back to jail ever again. Lifting is hella scary now too. I’ve lifted once since, a lip balm from a lush with no cameras, and nearly had a heart attack. So sad that this happened just before the holidays too, I was so looking forward to lifting comfy winter clothes and holiday palettes that I can’t otherwise afford…

I’m just very nervous to lift now but I always lifted my food and snacks and now I’m too nervous to and I’m really hungry honestly, my kitchen is almost entirely raw ingredients (my parents are like obsessed with cooking) and depression makes it hard to gather the motivation to actually cook something, so I lift ready to eat / easily prepared food. I’m just nervous now because I don’t have those anymore..

if you have like rich ass friends or cousins or whatever, ask for their bags. you could just say you wanna put them up on your wall bc my friend used to do that idk just make up a bullshit excuse. they most likely won’t say no i mean to them its trash.

my sisters boyfriend buys her literally anything she wants so there are all these loose bags she had never bothered to throw away after she moved out.

if you walk into the mall with a bag like this id say ppl are just gonna assume you want to return something, which isn’t completely put of the ordinary.

don’t lift at the stores bag you have(I’m lowkey sad bc i really wanted to lift some altar’d state stuff since its so easy there) bc they are gonna be like what the fuck why are you in here and not returning anything ??

and whenever you lift from somewhere just put it in that bag for concealing and detag in a dressing room. plus no one is gonna think ur a shoplifter with all these bags on you ;)

id say pull them out at a place like pacsun or somewhere with bad sa’s bc you probs won’t run into trouble but i rec this for more ppl who really know what they are doing.

@liftvr @brokelmao. Your responses on this post right now are completely unacceptable and how I know you don’t have the right attitude for liftblr and are incredibly immature.

We do not wish getting caught on anyone. We do not celebrate or enjoy anyone getting caught. We especially do not throw the fact that someone got caught in their face.

I literally do not care what grievances you have with someone, if someone you don’t like gets caught, you just don’t comment. Your little comments acting like you’re superior are completely immature, rude, and unnecessary. If you’re just trying to make an ass out of someone, especially someone who was genuinely concerned for you, then you need to hop off and get a serious attitude adjustment. I know it gets thrown around a lot, but this is seriously petty as fuck and shows a complete lack of empathy.

Let me say it again: WE DON’T WANT ANYONE IN OUR COMMUNITY BEING CAUGHT. WE DO NOT LAUGH AT ANYONE IN OUR COMMUNITY BEING CAUGHT.

It could easily happen to any of us, because all it takes is just the wrong angle, someone looking at just the wrong time, and we’d have LP on our asses like anyone else. So don’t act like you’re immune to being caught because even if you’re the best lifter in the world you’re still at risk of bad luck.

So get off your god damn high horses and chill the fuck out. I cannot express how mad and disappointed I am with you guys. Like I said your responses just showed your bad attitudes and how immature you are.
