Masterpost: How to Save Space & Stay Organized While Lifting:
Want to avoid getting caught just because SAs notice your bag looks lumpy as fuck when you leave a store? Want to stay organized and not constantly shuffle around the shit ton of clothes you just stole in your bags between stores?? Want to fit even more of those delightfully sinful clothes in any bag your evil hearts desire??? Want to skip the extra trips having to dump your stolen goodies in your car cause you canât control your lifting habit???? Want to finally organize the disgusting piles of all your hauls that have been collecting dust in your bedroom?????
Here you go u filthy animals.
Step-by-step illustrations on how to properly fold clothes in life, I tried this out today and sweet Jesus Christ on a cracker it works wonders for lifting. (Taken from a book I lifted called âSpark Joyâ)
Example: fold shirts this way and stack at bottom of your bag, and throw an unfolded item on top to cover the clothes. No stores will ever fold your new clothes this neat so itâs best to cover them to make it look natural if you have an open shopping bag.
*** Please note that this only works in fitting rooms or if you go to the mall restrooms after hitting a store⊠please donât attempt this on the store floor lmao cuz obviously ur done 4 if someone saw you folding shit this way out in the open.
Let me know if you try this and it works out for you too!!!
Much love đâ€ïž
god bless đđ»đđ»đđ»đđ»
While the manager and fitting room associate were arguing, I got to work! I said I would get the robe and I did! Iâm so fucking happy. đđŸđđŸđđŸ Used my Aliexpress hook.

UK LIFTING SUPERPOST
After browsing lifting blogs for a month or so I havenât seen much info regarding lifting in the uk so I thought Iâd make a post of all my experiences lifting in various shops as well as working in topshop previously
TOPSHOP -always someone placed at the entrance of the store (unless itâs a very small store with 3 SAâs) this is called âfront coverâ and the job is to call back anyone who beeps and to pace up and down looking down into the shop also, to check for anyone suspicious. They have a radio on them and Iâm not sure what the law/official rules are but we were told to ask to check customers bags if they beeped, regardless of if the bag was a topshop carrier bag or the customers own handbag. Our towers also detect magnets by flashing a blue light on the ceiling above the towers. Weâre told to smile and say hi to customers including anyone we deem suspicious in order to scare off anyone intending to lift -THERE IS A ROLE CALLED âRED ROUTEâ this role is specifically for catching out lifters! The task is to walk a figure of 8 around the store touching a few items but mainly watching and observing the behaviour of customers. This person has a radio but is plain clothed, so no topshop staff lanyard. -recently stores around me ditched the number cards in the fitting rooms and instead counted your items (maximum 7/8) and walked you to the fitting room. We were told to remember faces and items, take jewellery or pants off you and return on your way out. Fitti rooms are checked every 15 minutes and ticked off on a sheet, taking note of hangers tags or stickers in each cubicle. A way to avoid over attentive staff in fitting rooms would be to conceal then detag in the fitting room ( although we were hot on double tagging, told to feel clothes for double tags when customers gave them back) or before closing the person on the fitting rooms is told to tidy the store near the fitting room, then itâd be easy to stroll in with your items -socks and makeup were never tagged or stickered when I worked here but I know this isnât the case for bigger stores such as London. Jewellery have stickers on but are easy to hide behind your phone then just pick up another item that you donât want and slip your phone and wanted item into your pocket. Same with wallet -bras are meant to be tagged but honestly due to laziness itâs quite rare -Iâve never see anyone lift even though itâs very certainly happened, weâre only told to keep an eye on suspicious looking people e.g chavvy looking people or big groups of girls -canât think of any other tips ATM so ask any questions!
H&M -so lazy and unobservant, bras will be un tagged and I always find items of clothing not tagged -fitting rooms rarely manned-If no ones there I take some unwanted clothes in too and just come out with them and make a big deal of putting the unwanted clothes on their table when leaving the fitting room
PRIMARK -one of my favourites!! No tags whatsoever, busy SAâs, big stores and fitting rooms you can work around -they count your items at the fitting room and give you a numbered card, but donât take the items from your hands or thoroughly check, when going in I normally pretend to slowly count like errrm then they count for me and always miscount as I have tops under tops on my arms. I then conceal these extra items in the fitting room -you can also walk in with say 6 items, conceal 2 in the fitting room and walk out with 4 messy items on your arm. The shop assistants donât count your items on the way out, they donât care like at topshop, just say they are good thanks then slip them back around the shop floor while browsing. Easy way to gain 2 pieces of clothing
PAPERCHASE -no cameras, 2/3 staff per store -friendly SAâs just say hello and browse
THE BODY SHOP -a few cameras covering pretty much the entire shop floor due to its open-ness, maybe œ SAâs helping then 2 on the tills. Recently concealed when there was only 1 SA on the floor and she was busy helping someone, turned my back to the camera walking to look at something on a shelf
IKEA -only tried once messily and the security guard actually helped me out hahaha. Went in with my friend so she could buy her secret Santa, took a shopper bag and filled it with wanted items (was unsure if method would work so also concealed a few small bits in my own bag, plenty of blind spots and opportunities) and went to self checkout. My friend bought her items and I kind of just out the shopper bag on my shoulder while she was paying like I had already just bought it all and was waiting for her. Only problem is the shopper bags they give u to browse with are YELLOW and the bags you buy at the checkouts are BLUE. So on the way out he kind security guard told me I had the wrong bag and would need to buy a reusable bag for my items, went bag and bought one! Walk out method would work as busy and people buy so much stuff in there, next time I would take my blue reusable bag in and fill it up a bit but not so its bulky, then buy some candles and put them in my bag at the checkout. Like when you bring your own empty bags to the supermarket to save the world lol.
TESCO/ASDA -similar to ikea, I can conceal on the shop floor by putting my own bag in the trolley with my food and items, occasionally putting small things in my own bag -I also conceal at self checkout, paying for a few items then bagging the rest -cameras down most Aisles but I either conceal when turning a corner or walking down an aisle with my back to a camera
RIVER ISLAND -very strict and observant -only attempted small jewellery behind my phone or in my palm
BOOTS -notorious for teenage shop lifters, they involve police -some higher priced makeup sticker tagged
NEW LOOK -good near closing time, I noticed all the clutch bags werenât tagged so put one under my arm while browsing, took clothes to try on and concealed as no one in fitting room -big handbags tagged and all clothes are meant to be
this is awesome thank you! what kind of tags do Topshop/H&M/new look use?
Topshop have round golf tags on all clothing and small versions on bras/bikinis and the hook tags on bags etc :-)
Hi I'm a lifter new to the community but not to lifting, was wondering if anyone was from the UK? X
anyone in the UK?

BEEPING AT MICHAEL KORS
SoooooooooâŠâŠ
I was at this great outlet mall with some of my BFFs and we were doing awesome. I lifted like two outfits and a whole bunch of gifts for my lifting buddies. And I thought that it would be super cute if everyone in our lifting circle had matching wallets. So I chose Michael Kors because I just thought that it would be more aesthetically pleasing. So we go over to Michael Kors and at this point my group has split up. Iâm with one of my besties and the other two went to another store. I walk in and of course talk to the sales associates and have a blast. There was a lot of foot traffic that day so everyone was busy. I found the wallets I thought were uber cute so I picked up four of them. It was a little bit complicated to not be seen but I managed to do so. I look back and think of how dumb I was for not checking for tags. So after I was done getting the wallets I began to walk out and my friend was following a little far back from me. There were no towers but THE WHOLE STORE FUCKING BEEPED. I almost had a heart attack! I looked back at the SAs and was like âoh it was probably something in my bag or somethingâ and The SAs literally just didnât give a shit but I started like speed walking and then sat down to wait for my friend. We literally speed walked to her car and called the rest of the squad to let them know to abort the mission. Me and my friend were screaming that we didnât know what beeped. I looked inside of the wallets when we got into the car and saw that they wrapped up a soft tag in plasting and tissue paper so people would think it was just packaging. Whene we started to drive away we heard police sirens and like the police car drove right by us and OMG it was like the worst experience ever and I now know what to look for at MK.
that sounds so scary:( omg i would have had a fucking heart attacklmao

all about American Apparel
okay yall. ya lil hipster grunge poor sons of bitches who like to lift.
imma here to help you all succeed.
THIS INFORMATION IS FROM A FRIEND WHO WORKS AT AMERICAN APPAREL AND I ASKED MANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS SHIT SO PLS.
Also, this is based off of my store but it is probably relevant to many other stores as well.
-so basically they have 3 types of tags.->Ink tags, pencil tags, and rfid(everything in the store has an rfid)
-the ink tags do NOT set off the sensors by the door. Therefore, the items in the front are most likely tagged with ink tags so it doesnât accidentally set off the alarm.
-according to the AA employee, the SA cannot search your bag unless permission is given. It is against the law(However, please donât act super sus and take advantage as they can still call the police on you with the camera footage or something so still be careful)
-also according to the same AA employee, SAâs will sometimes run out after you or something but typically once you walk out the door itâs game over for them.
-my store has âa new open layoutâ that will lower the number of blind spots.
-they do not have magnet sensorsÂ
-if they know someone stole, they will prob call you out
-they may limit shit you bring into the room but you can always be like yo can u get this in a size x and theyâll be like lol oki and go search for it and you can have your lifting friend or whatever bring you more clothes so you can detag and the sa will never know!(well i hop they dont but they know it happens)
-although the rfid may not beep and ruin ur cover, i still dont believe it so pls just get rid of it and put it inside the pocket of the same thing or something idk man just dont have it on you(or if you do make sure the item is visible and not stuffed in ur mk selma bag so the SA will be like aw man u did not steal lol okay)
THIS IS THEIR LOSS PREVENTION PROCEDURES(they do not have on board lp but do have procedures to prevent theft)
1. Dressing room SA should be at the dressing rooms 24/7 and have the number of items the customer is bringing in and a vague idea of what type of clothing.â>It is a good idea to probably hide things within clothing so you can bring in more or bring 1-2 more of the same thing etc.â>but if you have a lot of fucking shit itâs really sus
2. They have these tag receptors(thatâs what the AA employee said)that basically act like the rfid squad. It is a handheld device used to detect loose tags. I also read an article regarding how AA adopted the rfid kingdom. So like each price tag has an individualized chip aka the rfid in it. The rfid squad will beep louder when it comes near the specific tag it is looking for. (the SA will have to enter in the item she/he/them wants to find and will go look around for it) This rfid system is mostly used for employee theft, reducing the amount of stocking mistakes, and also preventing shoplifting. If the rfid is tampered with IT WILL NOT NOTIFY THE RFID SQUAD. If the SA is sus of you and tries to look for the item and just finds a loose tag the store will be like aw nuts we lost these black disco shorts or something.
3. They check employees bags before they leave unless they are a trusted employee(tbt to spongebob employee of da month)
4. they are trained âto harassâ you with do you need help or customer service you until you shit your pants and leave and then youâll be a big wuss and the SA will talk shit about you once you leave
HOW NOT TO BE SUPER SUS
1. Dont fucking look like you dont belong. The AA employee said that there are people that just look like they are up to no good. The people who according to the employee are trying to act like thot-hoes.com (it is not a real website i thought it was and was very disappointed.)
2. dont be suspicious(cue parks and rec clip)and dont be nervous
3. dont wander around the store alot. it looks like you are trying to find ways to steal so look like u rich and interested.
4. be nice but not TOO nice
5. donât bring a whole bunch of shit to the dressing room what u trying to do get caught and prepare for the zombie tsunamiÂ
6. dont become a colony of people walking together trying to lift. basically dont be in a big group. the SA will think of you guys as fucking multiplying viruses and will hate u and try to get rid of you.
7. this sounds really gross but they never suspect asians (according to my store) and if you look innocent and young you dont seem to be sus. aka that me
8. they also watch out more for women as they often steal more than guys do.
I HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL I JUST REGURGITATED ALL THE INFORMATION THAT I HAVE/KNOW BUT STILL DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH KNOW YOUR RIGHTS BE CAREFUL DONT BE A WUSS BE STRONG AND BE SNEAKY. ALSO PLS DONT BE MEAN TO THE SA THEY ARE JUST DOING THEIR JOB AND YOU ARE MAKING IT WORSE FOR THEM SO DONT BE AN OUTRIGHT BITCH TO THEM BC THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COMPANY AS A WHOLE SO DONT BE RUDE Â :)
*a Michaels employee* sir, some teens are spelling curse words with the wood letters and squatting next to them again
Some assholes have been putting nails in cheese and treats in dog parks in Chicago and Massachusetts. Also adding antifreeze to water bowls.
Please watch out for your dogs. And if you find out the address of someone doing this, give me the address and tell no one. I will disembowel them.
Antifreeze is fucking deadly as shit. Whilst my mom worked in the vets office the neighbor of a cat owner had become sick of his neighbors tom spraying by his house so he left antifreeze out for the cat. Animals are weirdly attracted to the smell and will drink it.
The cat was given to the vets and for 2 days itâs insides were slowly dissolved by the acids and it bled from his nose, mouth and even eyes. Â
On the second day, the vet not being able to help and refusing to let the cat suffer any longer put the cat down. The neighbor who did not deny his crimes didnât even offer to pay the womanâs vet bill.
SO THE BIGGEST FUCKING SIGNAL BOOST TO THIS POST.
Fuck who ever is doing this. They can fucking burn.
my friend had a cat and it drank antifreeze that was puddled in the driveway and one day they were knitting and it just vomited up all of its internal organs and fell over dead on her lap.
The perpetrators of all of this will burn in Hell.Â
A neighbor of mine threw a ball of hamburger full of rat poison pellets over our fence for my sonâs dog. He survived, barely, but has had nerve damage ever since.
Okay, listen up, if your pet drinks antifreeze, do you know what the cure is? Alcohol. Thatâs right. To save your furry little friend you have to get them drunk out of their faces. Antifreeze is an inhibitor and stops your enzymes from working, but luckily alcohol stops that from happening. I learned this from my A Level Biology lessons, but hereâs a source anyway http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/2617997.stm
Shit this is important SIGNAL BOOST THIS THANK YOU ALICE
BOOST. FUCKING BOOST.
I know I run a studyblr, but I do not care
Hey! I'm travelling down to England after Christmas and I'll almost definitely be going to London, do you have any tips or any dos/donts regarding areas or stores in london?
Hiya! Sorry I took so long to reply to this!!! My advice would be plan ahead, London is a huge place and it can get really over whelming, its not much different to other areas of the UK, just there are a lOT more people, so you need to be vERY sneeky with concealing, like tbh you probs arent being watched by LP but shoppers are really really nosy in london, cause a lot of people are tourists!! Im sorry I dont have much else to tell you but uhm if you are anywhere near oxford street, and you like lush (or even just to boost) they have a huge 3 floor lush store that has a huge blindspot on the top floor, its brillllllll!!! If theres anything else you wanna ask go ahead:):)
đ!!!!
