I cannot believe I am at the point wherein I resort to eating paper becuase my emotionally abusive mother won't get food for me. I think the RE: Village loading screens are kind of gorgeous (the way Lady D's glowing eye just pops out at you ‒ seriously, whoever adjusted these for perfect contrast in black and white did a hell of a job), and was irritated I couldn't find them all online. This has been living in my mind rent free recently so I’m going to do another analysis-

A battle between Marta and Mary-two powerhouse women. Who’s walking away first. These two muscle bound ladies have no problem punching first and asking questions later. One uppercut and they’ll send your jaw straight to heaven with no return trip.

Now, let’s get this battle of the warriors started!

Looking at the raw stats of each of them-both have equally matched strength, speed and endurance to boot. So they can’t rely on simply punching hardest to pull them through. Let’s look at the the advantages each of them have over each other.

Mary:

+ Larger Size/More Mass

+Has much, MUCH more experience

+Skinfaxi bypasses Marta’s tough hide

Marta:

+Sheer Crackhead determination

+Much Better Healing Factor

+ Wider Variety of Weapons

Looking at the advantages Mary towers over Marta in a literal sense, while size isn’t everything. It could give her an edge on something. Perhaps using her superior height to keep headshots from being an option for the Dimitrescu daughter.

Skinfaxi, her massive Axe is also a Regalia, one of the weapons meant to ward off/fight beings of darkness. That includes the undead. So Marta’s hide which is impervious to blades and bullets has met it’s match. And she doesn’t even need Skinfaxi to fight her or bypass her impenetrable hide, she can use her bare hands. Remember that this isn’t Rexy, Mary has the strength and endurance to match Marta’s.

But her true triumph card in this fight of the powerhouses. Is the fact that she has much, MUCH more experience fighting super buffed up beings and a much wider variety of opponents then Marta.

Now looking at Marta, one of her most notable traits is her unstoppable will power. No matter how much pain she’s in she’ll keep pushing and pushing for the win. She might not always win but you can say she didn’t go down quietly. This allows her to push through unimaginable scenarios that most would see a lost cause.

Marta has more weapons then just her axe. Her bare fists, her gauntlet shields, shotgun, claws and her own teeth! Although the latter she doesn’t normally use in a battle due to a much higher risk of counterattacks. Her weapons have a good balance of defensive and offensive play, and combined with her own hand crafted armor to add even MORE protection makes it a tough nut to crack!

Marta’s healing factor, thanks to the inheritance from her mother and the Cadou, allows her to heal wounds from pretty much no normal human should. It is unclear how far her healing factor reaches is as it is comparable to the likes of Alcina, her mother. But it seems to heal all matter of wounds.

Alrighty, judgement time.

Marta would definitely have a lovely time using her wider arsenal against Mary. But Marta experience with fighting powerful beings could make her quickly adapt to fighting a being like Marta. As it wouldn’t be the first super powered bio weapon she’s fought, and it wouldn’t be the last. Marta’s pure honey badger like determination wouldn’t let her falter.

So who beats who?

It’s difficult to say because both have equal means of taking the other out.

I would firmly say that the one who looses is the one who makes the first mistake.

Both can beat each other and have an equal chance of doing so but even if one wins, the winner is going home with less organs then they woke up with.

Marta has never had to push above her limits because she was always that much stronger then everyone else. She’s never fought anyone that can take a punch from her and dish it back out.

While the wounds from Skinfaxi could heal at a rapid rate, she will need to be careful that it doesn’t hit anything vital or chop off a limb. Because that could compromise her and Mary will not give her a chance to recover if she begins to falter. Same goes the other way-even if Mary messes up a split second no doubt Marta is going to take advantage of that split second. And even then Mary doesn’t need Skinfaxi to do damage to Marta. Also, Marta cannot disarm Mary of Skinfaxi by her own hand because she cannot pick up or touch Skinfaxi. Her rapid healing could prolong her time of touching Skinfaxi, but it’s only a matter of short time before her fingers or hands become nonexistent.

Considering that their both muscular ladies, Marta could weight more then Mary with her extra clothes, armor, Etc.

This is the perfect opportunity explain that Marta's veins within the limb that has been severed, will grow/stretch/elongate out back to Marta's body, and then drag themselves back on, and reattach themselves. And even if the limb is completely gone, it will regrow. That's how good her healing factor is. She losing nothing even if you manage to severe her limbs. This also goes for her head aswell.

Also, even if she can't weild Skinfaxi for long, that doesn't mean she can't destroy, or simply get rid of it. She could pass it to her wolfpack, who would then drag it off into the woods somewhere. It wouldn't affect them, as they're not beings of darkness, they're just wolves.

So if it’s a crucial blow that causes her to stagger or hesitate-Marta will need to distract Mary with a critical blow or back away to recover.

Her best option would be to move it someplace else. Destroying it wouldn’t be an option. Especially for Marta. And considering that it’s Mary’s regalia she would be able to find it. Regardless Marta moving it or her hounds moving it to someplace would be her best course of action. That being said Mary doesn’t need Skinfaxi to deal crucial damage to Marta. As she has more then enough strength to crush her armor and her bones as well.

It's officially here! This what Marta Dimitrescu looks like once mutated, though, some details may change in the future. Let me explain it;

So, the general consensus of this is that it is a large, two headed wolf. Round about 12FT tall. The two wolf heads do not have eyes, and are thus blind, but with their sense of smell and hearing, they will still know where you are. I'd like to now draw your attention to the two glowing dots on the creatures chest. Those are eyes, (if you zoom in, perhaps you will be able to see it better) this beast is not completely unable to see, though it still has quite poor vision, and does not rely on it. The two appendages a little below the eyes, are of course badly drawn arms. Those are arms from Marta's "normal" body, aswell as the eyes. The special thing about Marta's mutated form is that it is not something she transforms into, rather that she grows around her original body. Like a second skin, though this skin is also somewhat of an entity on its own, being fully controlled by Marta, she able to live without it, but not the other way around. This means that if the creature is killed, Marta herself will most likely stay alive, able to crawl out of the beasts body if need be. She is also still able to talk whislt in this form, though only telepathically, her voice loud and echoing in her victims mind's. Her mutated form is not one she favours, as she has not yet mastered the art of controlling it. It comes to centrestage when Marta is overwhelmed with any violent emotion, (I.e, anger, sadness, grief, jealousy, ect) and once out, is much more erratic and furious than Marta herself ever is. That being said, usually, once she tires herself out, her mutated form will subside, and she will be "normal" once again.

It comes to centrestage when Marta is overwhelmed with any violent emotion, (I.e, anger, sadness, grief, jealousy, ect) and once out, is much more erratic and furious than Marta herself ever is.
