And the final colour to finish the rainbow of Luminosity: Yellow.
Went with all one line: Plaster of Paris by Northcott, which meant the center will be white and the second colour is a little beige, but still fits.
I didnāt put too much thought into this one since they all came from the same line. It might not turn out as nice as some of the others.
Weāll see.
Not bad so far.
I did fuck up a bunch of the nine patches because I got cocky due to how many Iāve made LOL Had to seam rip about twenty of them to put them back together in the right colours.
The white is a little stark. Gonna use a yellowly gold thread I think when I quilt it to break it up a little.
Okay. Putting it all together and quilting it made it gorgous.
Absolutely a ātrust the processā moment LOL
Yellow quilting thread, sunflower pattern because thatās what the yellows reminded me of.
The center is still standing out, but in a good way I think. I quite like it.
We have a really nice ombre line of fabric at the shop and this yellow looked good with the Northcott yellows, so I sewed the light edges together and off-centered it on purpose. LOL There was no way I was gonna get the light perfectly centered, so doing it off centered on purpose was obviously the only way to go.
And the sunflower quilting on the back looks just as nice as it does on the front!
